Country music thread

Curse you Dallas. I can't stop listening to Zac Brown Band. I'll go a day, maybe two, but then I'm listening to them again.

Lol, when you start it's hard to stop. One of those bands that I can't decide if I like them or not. I'll probably buy their new record though, if "my old man" is an indication of what type of material will be on it.

The early stuff is solid. Kind of like Kenny Chesney. Grandpa Told Me So, Me and You, his cover of Back Where I Come From, When I Close My Eyes, and a few other songs are all great 90s country favorites of mine. Just because most of his stuff from 2000 on was absolute garbage, I'll still enjoy the good stuff, pun intended. Same with Toby Keith. His sellout, Americana, always touting the military first stuff is annoying, but I'll still listen to Should've Been a Cowboy all day. So I'll still listen to the good songs by ZBB too.

Thinking of going to see Tracy Lawrence, would it be worth the 35-45 bucks?

Really want to see d.a.c, but after reading reviews of his shows, not so sure it's worth it. Seems like his wife tries to be the star.

I saw Tracy Lawrence a year and a half and he sounded flawless. Literally was like going back to 1998. He's my second all time favorite country artist behind Alan Jackson. I was blown away by how good he sounded. Where is he playing?

Renfro valley in mt Vernon,ky.

Enjoying the new Aaron Watson album. The lead track is yet another song that makes me want to retire away in West Texas

Check out Jeremy Steding's new album if you get a chance. Spotify'd a bit today and it was impressive from what I heard.

Great show. Casey Donahew is now on the "can't miss" list, what a great perfomer.

Josh Abbott's dad passed away last night so he clearly didn't play, William Clark Green joined each act and did one of Josh's songs.

Going to see Tyler Childers this weekend at a benefit for my hometown. Second time seeing him.

Wish that dude would ever venture outside the state of Kentucky, or at least more than just a couple hours outside of it. On top of that, I wish he would make a new album also.
