2 more days for the new Stapleton album. I'm afraid he can't sustain the success of Traveller, but Broken Halos sure is pretty good. Hope the rest of the album is solid

Got to see Colter Wall, Ward Davis,Cody Jinks and a surprise visit from Whitey Morgan last Saturday night. New fans in my household! Wow Colter has a unique sound as well as Cody Jinks, I'd love to get up to the Pilgrimage in Sept. but my wife and I will be shooting an IDPA match . Anyone else make it to Minglewood hall for that concert?

Saw those three in Lexington a couple of weeks ago, jealous that you got to see whitey as well. Those guys put on a hell of a show. There's a fan page on Facebook called "black sheep-a flock of Cody jinks fan" bunch of great fans in there.

Ordered the new Stapleton album today and listened to it on Spotify. Great sound to it and some nice variety but can't say I had the chance to really sit and listen to the lyrics.

Yesterday the new John Moreland album showed up at my door and it is, not surprisingly, amazing. Going to be listening to that a lot in the near future.

Pre ordered new Isbell and JTE which I think will be here next month. Lot of good stuff going on right now.

The new Stapleton album is good. Gone through it three times now. Definitely even more of a blues influence than Traveller. It sounds more polished, the lyrics are solid and still light years better than anything on radio, so what I'm about to say needs taken with a grain of salt: Add everything up and this album lacks the raw feel and deep emotion of Traveller. Still worth the purchase and will get lots of play from me. I really do hate that I think only one song gets a steel guitar in it though.

What's the best record stores around gatlinburg and Nashville beside ET's? Looking to get some whitey Morgan, cody jinks, Stapleton, and stuff like that.
