If you want to be paid at some arbitrary rate you define as a living wage then acquire the skills that warrant that pay

When 1 out of 3 people will get fired for the government setting a minimum wage so high that small business owners can't pay it then that is what will happen. You know, because the government knows how to create jobs and living wages off of earnings.

I’m willing to concede that I think $15 is too high in large swaths of the country, and maybe not enough in others. $7.25 is also too low and has been for quite some time. This is what happens when legislators can’t work together to solve a problem consistently. You get wild swings when the power balance tips the other way.

Republicans have played the part of obstructionists on minimum wage for too long. Now, democrats overreact and overcompensate now that they have the numbers.

How about we just let the market dictate wages and not the federal government? Teenagers don't need or deserve a $15 minimum wage and dumb people that are 28 and punching out kids don't either.
