Or they could see that since Parker graduated not one former Tenn player has made an Olympic squad. It would be up to them to decide why. Is it Geno's being vindictive? Or will they look at the WNBA stat leaders and see many former UConn players listed prominently and conclude that they earned their spots on the team?

Umm, the 2008 team had Catch and Kara Lawson on it, and the 2012 team had Parker and Catch. It's hard to build an argument when it relies on an erroneous premise.
What the hell do Tennessee players since 08 have to do with Parker's Olympic merit? And have you noticed Parker's WNBA stats and team record? There is no valid argument that she shouldn't be on the team.

It has nothing to do with Parker. I was responding to this:
The assumption among many here that Geno hand-picked the team and that the committee just rubber-stamped his choices doesn't make sense. Why would they? He won't be the next coach so there is no motivation there. He has nothing to do with the WNBA which is the primary force for USA basketball. If you look at the ruling body of USA it is filled with NBA and WNBA executives. They have zero reasons to alienate one of their premier players just to placate Geno.

I guess we should include the WNBA in this conspiracy as well. After all, there are always more UCONN alum playing in their All-Star game every season. And then we can go ahead and look at the WNBA leading statistics in all categories and they are littered with former UCONN players as well. I guess there is just some huge conspiracy going on here. I'm surprised Trump hasn't gotten wind of it yet. After all, the UCONN WBB team has been to the White House 6 times in Obama's 8 years as President. Instead of an NCAA violation for UCONN, the DOJ should look into RICOH violations. Because we all know that Geno is to blame for anything bad that happens in WBB.
How does that make Candace any less deserving?

For the second time, I was responding to this comment:
IMO Parker deserved to on the team based on talent. The mystery is why the committee's vote left her off. Some here seem to know with absolute certainty that Geno demanded that she be left off for purely vindictive reasons or that he had a problem with her signing up with Budweiser. I have a hard time buying either argument. But then I don't hate Geno with a passion like some on this board. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
The committee's vote did not leave her off. Anyone who says they believe otherwise is lying to themselves.
You don't know that, Linkster doesn't know that, I don't know either. None of us know how this happened and we don't have access to those that do know. So, why pretend to have information when we just don't have it? We may never know how this was decided.

Sorry, but what does this have to do with CANDACE PARKER not being selected?
