The conspiracy goes much deeper than CP not getting selected for the Olympic team. It just show the extent of Geno's all reaching conspiracy. No one should just limit themselves to the CP event, the search for the truth about the complete conspiracy must be expanded.

UConn fans who think that Geno had nothing to do with Candace's omission are a funny bunch.

The 2012 team had Lindsay Whalen, Simone Augustus Angel McCoutry Tamika Catchings, Sylvia Fowles, and Candace Parker on it. He seemed to be fine with players that chose schools other than UC.

Keeping this nonsense up is doing nothing but making the LV Fan look bitter and small-minded. Is that really the image that you want to portray to prospective recruits?

Let us not forget where the rest of the players came from. (Bird, Moore, Taurasi, Charles, Cash and Jones) came from UCONN.
SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ALLOWED TO HAPPEN.

No one is going to question players of the caliber of a Moore or Taurasi, but...Cash? And then Jones?

These threads fill with UConn fans because of the attacks on their coach, just as UConn fans who posted ugly posts about CPS on the Boneyard drew a flurry of LV fans to defend CPS. So if the LV fans on this board want to avoid these excursions then the easy solution is to stop the attacks on their coach and players. Ignore posting about them and their fans won't come here.

CP is a fully grown women with strength of her own. She is fully capable of defending herself. She doesn't need your help, my help, or anyones help. She is more than capable.

All that the program of insults aimed at another school's coach does is make those raging and those venting feel good for a moment as they wallow in their poorly controlled anger. It doesn't help, but it does hurt the image of this LV community.

I didn't say he had nothing to do with it. I am saying it goes farther than just the Olympic selection. TENN fans should not just stop there, they should continue on to seek out all aspects of this conspiracy. Maybe there are other coaches and school administrators involved.... maybe not. You must be diligent in your search for the truth and not just settle on simply saying it is his fault and let it end there. So much more is at stake.

Maybe H.S. coaches are involved by trying to steer top recruits to UCONN. Maybe ESPN is involved by giving them a lot of TV time. Dunkin Donuts is one of their sponsors so someone should look into them and see how they tie into this conspiracy.

Because you certainly know that the most successful WCBB program didn't become that by hard work by the coaches, players administrators and all the other people associated with the team. There must be a conspiracy of some sort. And the tip of the iceberg is the CP snub for the Olympic team. Please keep us all updated on your search for the truth. Like Mulder says...."The truth is out there."

As the next several seasons unfold, remember that I tried to convince those that have decided bitterness is a plus that there was a better way.

Gule, I don't think gulley has the character to leave. Gulley has falsely accused Candace of being the cause of "friction". He has called LV fans crazy, obtuse, ignorant, ugly, bitter, and small-minded. He has used the term "feces" in describing posts made by LV fans. He has falsely accused me of posting on the boneyard. I've said before that UConn fans are the most insecure bunch I have ever seen. Their team has accomplished more in the game of women's basketball than entire conferences have. Yet they patrol the internet with a microscope looking for any sign of disrespect. They're not funny - I honestly think there is something wrong with them. Instead of celebrating their accomplishments, they start fights on other fan boards.

From what I remember LV fans have had a bug up their bums about UConn players since Lobo was put on the 1996 team and have found any excuse to criticize any UConn grads since then. And if you think that has nothing to do with Tenn's record against UConn in championship games ( 0-4) then keep telling yourself that.

Damn right they do. All they have to do is own it. Geno isn't doing that, and that's why we all think he's an ass.

If he came right out and said, "I don't want Candace on the team", then he would show that he has the balls to stand by his decision. He won't and doesn't, and we are all more than happy to point that out.

UConn has won the last 4 NCs. We all know who the top dog in the sport is at the moment. Unlike UConn fans, we're more concerned about our team and how they can get back to the upper echelon.
