That’s actually very sad. His family will never get the Justice they deserve.Oh **** off. You haven't watched the video.
If 5 armed men violently rip you out of your car for simply asking "what did I do?" and you have the correct instinct to realize you are in a life-threatening situation, let's see if you stay put.
He wasn't running when they had him subdued and cuffed, before they beat him to death. They broke his neck. They ****ed him up so bad that his kidneys failed.

I would imagine the firefighters were scared. There are plenty of vids out there of police arresting firefighters/first responders when they’re trying to save people.Burhead posted a detail I forgot to include. They propped up his lifeless body and yelled "Stay up, ************!"
I'm shocked that firefighters and paramedics didn't do anything. Does that speak to the inhumane treatment and subhuman outlook on certain socioeconomic statuses and race, or were the FF's and paramedics too scared of the LEOs to do anything?
According to Franklin Pierce, this is just going to be huge cost to the taxpayer.
And TNVOLNAVY thinks this is on Nichols for trying to escape an obviously hostile situation.
Just curious since you had an opp to see the video. No serious detail has been released yet. Any inference from watching as to why they so brutally beat one of their own to death. Pics of the vic would lead one to beleive he was well raised by his parents and didn't have the "appearance" of someone who would have been causing enough trouble to bring this on.
If he was beaten as badly as it appears from the leaks coming out I'm not sure his resisting matters that much. While I agree it makes him to a lesser degree responsible for the violence needed to subdue him there is certainly at point at which the force needed to subdue was exceeded and this became a beat down. The local and national news medias are strongly pushing the narrative for riots. Not once have I heard the dude that died was resisting arrest.

It goes deeper than that I'm afraid, I never went to college and I'm not remotely intelligent enough to give a detailed breakdown but psychology tells you when you deal with the worst of the worst, people who behave animal like, whether they be white or black you begin to use that as a frame of reference for the public in those areas as a whole. You begin to become animal like in nature, he ran and resisted and their "animal" instincts kicked in. Call it burnout, whatever you want but it is a culture problem. The cultural problem isn't with police, it's society in general of which they are a part. The problem is they are given powers and liberties under the law the rest of the public isn't. We have to find a way to correct the issues that create this problem.Because it's about LEO'S treatment of PoC as a whole, regardless of the LEO'S race.
Some of the worst cops in LA amidst the 90's were black.

Just my opinion.
I'm not denying that. But there are cultural issues all over the country. And it just so happens the hotbeds of police and public cultural issues most often overlap, that's the biggest part of my point.Police all over the country have a huge cultural problem and it's getting worse. Police departments are either encouraging or at a minimum turning a blind eye to the gang like behavior on the force. Steroids are a big problem within police forces.
The officers involved had no regard for life, period. Trying to tie it to race or socioeconomic stature is stupid.Burhead posted a detail I forgot to include. They propped up his lifeless body and yelled "Stay up, ************!"
