Crime Ridden Memphis

What is different?
It wouldn’t surprise me if this wasn’t a hire someone to do your dirty work scenario.. what exactly would this guy’s motive be? He didn’t ask for a ransom.. something is off.. Edit: my husband says he thinks just random crime attack in Memphis.. I disagree

I thought the same as you - why would the police take her laptop, car and of all things garden shears ? Also the husband was dumb enough to post on Instagram about marriage counseling awhile back

There are a lot of people in Memphis circles thinking the same as you.

It’s all rumors right now.

This isn’t some random carjacking in South Memphis…
This isn’t some random armed robbery in North Memphis…

This was an abduction - in East Memphis, right in front of U of M.
Obviously you have some insider information, care to share what us that don't live in Memphis know?

You know Joe is a habitual LIAR don't you? Politicians say anything to win elections.
They also lied when they said Joe was & will govern as a moderate. Joe is a Trojan Horse.

Blah,, blah, blah. Nearly everything you say is wrong by around 180 degrees. Maybe you ought to stick to sports.

They didn’t rob her. Everything she had of value was left on the ground where they grabbed her.

Does not look like random violence here.

They also stole the vehicle they used to abduct her.

Seems the Memphis police took all of the laptops in the house..searches and social media uncover all kinds of things..and what in the world with shears?

It’s usually the spouse that is involved in the disappearance/murder of their significant other. That being said, even innocent people need to lawyer up the moment police start talking to them about a crime.
Never ever ever speak to Law Enforcement without an attorney present.

Never. Don’t do it. Ever.

Retaining counsel is your RIGHT. It is not an admission of guilt.

EXCLUSIVE: 'He was a Weird Pervert': Felon charged with 'violently snatching' billionaire heiress, 38, as she jogged in Memphis offered woman '$100 to f***' and 'stalked others at his brother's house', neighbors say - as search for missing woman continues

The man accused of 'violently snatching' billionaire heiress Eliza Fletcher while she was out jogging in the early hours of September 2 has been described as a 'creep' and 'pervert' by neighbors.

Authorities in Memphis announced Sunday that 38-year-old Cleotha Abston was charged with especially aggravated kidnapping and tampering with evidence following Fletcher's disappearance.

One neighbor told DailyMail.com exclusively that Abston had routinely offered women money for sex and stalked others while hanging around the apartment complex where his brother lived.

His arrest comes just over two years after his release from prison on kidnapping charge. Abston served 20 years for the kidnapping and robbery of lawyer Kemper Durand in Memphis in May 2000.

She described him as a 'pervert,' who once snuck up behind her and propositioned her for sex. He did the same to other women in the complex, and at times would sit in his black SUV gawking at women walking by or sitting on stoops.

'When women were around, he would sit in the truck and stare,' April said.

'He was a weird pervert,' she added. 'He watched me come on the porch, then came up the stairs behind me and said, 'I will give you $100 to f***,' she recalled of a creepy encounter she had with the suspect last winter.

'Do you think I'm a h** that needs your money?' she said she replied to him.

'He approached at least two other girls here with the same line, offering money for sex,' she said.

Abston still has not said where Fletcher is or what he did to her. The affidavit said evidence, including blood, found in Abston's car led them to believe Fletcher suffered a 'serious injury.'

In Menphis, they elected a weak on crime DA, Steve Mulroy (no or low bail, no detaining except for violent crimes, etc). Mulroy took over on 9-1. Abston has an arrest record for something unrelated on 9-1 but he was not sent to jail. On September 2nd, he abducted (and likely murdered) Eliza Fletcher....

Sick perv must have missed prison but he will be back for life this time

Need to move up north to sell dope and commit crimes. If they do not just let you walk out of jail after being arrested for felonies because "having to post bail is racist"....they will catch you with nearly a kilo of cocaine, already bagged up in 100 bags, over $9000 in cash etc....and set your bail at less money than you make in a week. About $2000....or a days wages, $350, if you are a female.

This is the biggest cocaine bust EVER in this town/area. These folks will walk out of jail and not be seen again. Anyone with an IQ higher than room temperature knows this .

How can liberals seriously be as dumb as a bag of hammers, about everything? Seriously...every single issue. Astounding.

Fwiw...where I live in NC these folks bonds would be close to 100x this. His would be a couple hundred grand...you know, to make sure he was actually at trial to answer for having $100,000 street value of cocaine bagged up and actively being sold? Fwiw...i believe soft drugs should be legalized, taxed, etc. Meth, coke, fentanyl etc destroy families, lives, and communities. People shoot gas station attendants in the face over $50 when they need their fix from these drugs. Different animal altogether.

Body found in hunt for 'kidnapped' billionaire heiress: Large police presence as helicopter circles around heavily wooded area just a Hundred Yards Away From Suspect's Brother's House

A body was found on Monday evening in the area that was cordoned off by law enforcement in Memphis amid the frantic search for missing mother-of-two Eliza Fletcher.

Police have not confirmed that the body that was found is that of Fletcher. The missing billionaire heiress vanished while out for a jog around 4:30 am in Memphis. Monday's discovery is around seven miles from where she was last seen.

The area being searched is beside the Longview Gardens apartment complex, where kidnapping suspect Cleotha Abston's brother, Mario, lives.

EXCLUSIVE: 'My whole f***ing family's wacky': Uncle of heiress 'kidnapper' slams his relatives as 'nuts' and is '100% sure' his nephew is linked to missing teacher: Suspect's mom goes into hiding

The uncle of a violent felon accused of snatching billionaire heiress Eliza Fletcher have said the family is 'f***ing wacky' and they hope she is 'still alive.'

Nathaniel Isaac, 69, said that Cleotha Abston's mother is 'in hiding' after her son was arrested in connection with the missing mother-of-two.

Isaac, who married into the family, told DailyMail.com: 'She's in hiding. That's why she's not here now. She's very upset about what happened.

He says he barely knowns Abston, who spent 20 years in prison after being convicted of another kidnapping, but saw his brother Mario who has been arrested on unrelated drugs and firearms charges after a raid.

Isaac added: 'My whole f***ing family's wacky,' he said. 'They always have been. They're not beloved to me because they're nuts. It's the truth. Go check the police records for the Abstons.
