Fairfax County activist on Parents Opposing Critical Race Theory: 'Let them die'

A local Virginia activist exhorted a crowd gathered outside of a Fairfax County school board meeting to "let them die" in reference to parents who oppose the school district's racial justice curricula and efforts to reform admissions policies, among other things.

Michelle Leete, who is vice president of the NAACP's Fairfax chapter and a leader in the Virginia state PTA, made the comments while speaking to a group of counterprotesters who were present during a "Stop CRT rally," in reference to critical race theory, on Thursday.

“While they deny it’s being taught, [National Education Association] doubles down," a flyer for the event said, according to the Daily Wire. "It’s not about race or equity, it’s about a Communist Radical Takeover of America!”

If this is gonna be taught, I think they also need to teach about how many minorities have gained college admissions and jobs that they did not earn, and conversely how many white kids who deserved those entrances and jobs if merit was the overriding qualification but were passed over in the name of affirmative action and other quota-based programs since passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Two sides of the same coin.

1619 Project Creator claims Socialism Solved Racism in Cuba

For normal people, leftist and corporate media ambivalence toward the Cuban government's recent crackdown on unprecedented democracy protests seems inexplicable. The post-Bush Democratic Party has reclaimed the mantle of interventionism and militant democracy promotion from the GOP. And such protesters, under any other circumstances, would usually be recognized as the clear-cut victims of oppression in such a situation. They are even multi-ethnic and include thought-leaders such as artists.

But for much of the Left, America's foreign dominance renders us the enemy by default. Not long ago, Nikole Hannah-Jones, founder of the historically dubious 1619 Project, put forward and defended the far-left's view of the Cuban dictatorship as the hero of the story.

Given the obvious failure of their centurylong communist experiment, leftists are now seeking to revive The Cause with slightly different branding. Sure, Cubans may feel compelled to send their children abroad on flotillas made of trash to escape the poverty and oppression wrought by their government. But, Hannah-Jones counters, have you seen how equal all the races are?

They've never even touched on how lives would differ if their ancestors hadn't been sold into slavery by other Africans. Reparations and CRT would never even come up with some honest analysis and debate.

Everyone? Or just our victims?

We do it domestically through institutions like the war on drugs.

We do it internationally directly through intervention and indirectly through policies like the war on drugs.

How do we oppress internationally through a war on drugs?

How do we oppress internationally through a war on drugs?

Well, indirectly, our war on drugs results in terrible outcomes for our neighbors, but I'm sure you absolve us of all those consequences. Directly, we put tons of political pressure on other governments and even intervene to make sure the war on drugs is being fought within their borders.

By all means what part of history isn’t being taught?

I would say lots. Do you think all of history is being taught? We're taught far less than there is to know, so of course. I didn't know about Juneteenth until I was 36 and I seek out history and read it in my free time.

Specifically, people are banning historical lessons about how we ended up with institutional racism that still affects us today. Keep fighting the good fight. Maybe burn some books while you're at it.

NYC’s Top Schools Seek Next Generation of Woke Educators

Grace Church High School posted a job description for Math and Science Center consultants asking applicants to have a "commitment to antiracism and accessibility of student education for diverse learners."

Many of New York City’s once-vaunted private schools are hunting for the next generation of woke educators to preach the gospel of anti-racism and critical race theory, a review of job applications by The Post shows.

Leading the way is Ethical Culture Fieldston School, which is on the market for a ballet instructor “committed to challenging Western dance forms and the hierarchical and pedagogical practices that often center whiteness in dance classrooms and on stages,” according to a job description posted to the school’s website.

Even science at Fieldston — a Bronx institution where tuition is $55,510 a year — has not been spared the progressive mandate. A posting seeking an upper school biology teacher said applicants should have “an understanding of and commitment to cultural competency, and how to support a diverse student population, especially through teaching more inclusive science curricula.”

A rep for Fieldston did not respond to a request asking for clarification about what an “inclusive science curricula” was.

STEM subjects face a similar wokening at Grace Church School — $57,330 a year — in downtown Manhattan, where wanted Math and Science Center consultants must have a “commitment to antiracism and accessibility of student education for diverse learners.”

One of the responsibilities listed for a secretary position at the $58,350-a-year Riverdale Country School is to proofread report cards “for proper use of pronouns.”

Critical race theory and so-called anti-racism curricula propagate “a worldview that believes that everything in public and private life must be considered with respect to racial identities,” said Jonathan Butcher, an education fellow at the Heritage Foundation.

At least the parents are paying out the nose knowing what their kids are getting into?

Last I checked, protons will still have a positive charge and electrons will still have a negative charge regardless of how much melanin is in a person's skin. And in Base 10, 2+2 will still equal 4.

'Let them die!': NAACP leader blasts parents marching against Critical Race Theory Being Taught at Virginia Middle School - and ends up being sent on 'Sensitivity Training' by the State PTA for Her Rant

An NAACP leader has been caught on camera blasting parents who oppose Critical Race Theory and shouting 'let them die' in a fiery speech outside a Virginia middle school board meeting.

NAACP Vice President Michelle Leete - who is also a member of Virginia state PTA - made the inflammatory comments to a crowd at Luther Jackson Middle School in Falls Church, Fairfax County, Thursday.

The crowd, who cheered in response to Leete's speech, had gathered to counter-protest a group of parents who were holding a 'Stop CRT rally' at the school.

Leete is Vice President of her local NAACP chapter, Vice President of Training at the Virginia state PTA and Vice President of Communications for the Fairfax County PTA.

The PTA said Friday night that Leete's words 'do not reflect the values' of the group and that she will be sent on 'sensitivity training' to learn about the 'impact of the words we use'.

The incident comes as parents, schools and activists across America are going to war over CRT and anti-racist teachings being taught to children.

Fairfax PTA leader Ousted after Wishing Death on anti-CRT Parents

An official with the Virginia Parent-Teacher Association resigned after she was recorded on camera saying opponents of critical race theory can "die."

"Today, the Virginia PTA executive committee requested and received the resignation of Michelle Leete, who served as Vice President of Training," a Saturday statement from the association reads.

"The actions & rhetoric of Ms. Leete & all of the like-minded partisan supporters of the SB are deeply disappointing. It evinces a deep lack of concern for children & parents, particularly where the wellbeing of children & families clash with political considerations," a tweet accompanying the statement reads.
