Ok, knowthevols, let's get something straight so we can stop debating it endlessly. It was impossible for Pearl to stay. He got a 3 year show cause. We literally had absolutely no other choice whether you loved Pearl or hated him.

Like everyone on here, you really have no clue if Martin can have an elite program and we won't know for at least a couple of years. You can't have a program at all with a coach who is banned from coaching. Why don't you finally get over Pearl and get on board with the new coaching staff and hope for the best, rather than ranting on and on about a coach who is no longer here.

I know he had to go. I'm just busting chops because he was convicted before the evidence was presented. We had a poster on here who had a personal grudge of some
sort that on the verge of being a sociopath. I really don't
have enough body of work to tell if Martin is going to be a good coach or not. If you remember some of my post
when the board was not engaged in a Pearl arguement I
said to give him time for us to see what manner of coach
he is. Like you said Thanksgiving " Its just good clean fun" and I agree. GBO

If you think Jerry Green's "success" was anything near the level of Bruce's than I have some nice swamp land to sell you. But, fact of the matter is, if you use the word pathetic to describe a coach that you are using for an argument on Tennessee basketball success than obviously Tennessee basketball has not had alot of success.

I loved Pearl. I thought cuonzo was here just because. I love the guy though. He eminates competitiveness and hard work. I would love to play for him.

Why don't you try comparing Green's 4 year tenure with Pearl's first 4 years before spouting off and making yourself look stupid.
