What did you shoot?@Behr
Two rounds of golf, two hikes and 8 days. That’s not as good as the old one I don’t think. Not even at four years old honestly. But there’s so many extra features to use up the battery faster. And I’m perfectly fine with eight days per charge. It takes maybe 30 minutes to go from 22% to 100%
Anything is fine in this thread, just not a fan of political stuffs or baseball.Good rounds for me are low 80s. I might break 80 once a year at best. Last year has been a nightmare though work wise, and just not much of a chance to play. Golf ain’t like riding a bicycle.
And sorry Behr for talking about this in yo thread

I charged mine to a full charge Thursday morning before leaving on my trip around 8am. I used a workout function Thursday night, Friday morning and 3 Friday night. Friday night at 9:20 it was on 64%. That's like 1% an hour. Really good for this one.@Behr

Yea, when I was playing 1-2 times a week, anything over an 84 was a bad bad day. Now I have a little enjoyment out of 85/86When I was playing once a week I was consistently low to mid 80s with a fair amount of rounds in the 70s.
When I played last year for the first time in years, I didn’t keep score. I don’t want to know what my score would have been.

Outside of potentially getting some “help” in places that are dead/bare/wasted in spots they absolutely should not be (ie, dead spots on the fringe, fairway, etc), in play as is. Most courses don’t grow true rough anymore though.tl;dr
I have not played much at all since my wife got sick. I started the team at school, coached it for 15 years, and could not devote the time it required anymore. I used to play regularly (3+ times per week), and when I played regularly, I shot in the high 70s and low 80s. I am fiercely competitive by nature, and if I cannot play my best and am out of practice, I get very frustrated with myself. I haven't tried to play in a long while now. I have a club making shop in my garage, but most of my components are very dated now, I guess. I bet I sold 100 sets of those King Snake irons back in the day, and I always played best with Zing2 knockoff irons. Now about all I do is regripping if someone does not want to take them somewhere and pay to have it done.
If someone who plays golf plays it down in the rough, takes no mulligans, and putts out on every hole, shooting "bogey golf" will put someone in the top 20-25 percent of people who play on public courses.
If you ever get a chance, head up to Tazewell County Country Club in Pounding Mill, VA. It's a private course just above the turnoff to Richlands if you're on the old road to Bluefield. That's pretty close to what rough should be, as was Buffalo Valley in the early 80s.Outside of potentially getting some “help” in places that are dead/bare/wasted in spots they absolutely should not be (ie, dead spots on the fringe, fairway, etc), in play as is. WTFView attachment 492569stopped at Betty's country store in Helen this morning to get hoop cheese, and they had flavored crickets. I was giving a box to little bit, and Zoey went crazy trying to get them. I was holding her down, but she had that paw on them claiming them. We gave her some, and she ate them.
