Only once for me. Fried chicken at one of those "you're either getting food poison, or the best food ever" looking places. Turned out to be food poisoning that timeBad Chinese food in Denver. (Should’ve known better, right?) I wound up having to postpone my flight home, keep the rental car an extra day, and squeeze one more night out of the Airbnb.
So weak and dizzy that I couldn’t stand up, plus the other Fun Things.
Must’ve been Tekila’sGot some really bad food poisoning at Mexican place really close to where @hmanvolfan lives...
View attachment 511152@Behr, the instantaneous loading of results to my phone continues to blow my mind. The map on the phone is brilliant too. I might try to find ways to mix up routes with it. Have you used the music function? I haven’t (would try it for walks and runs maybe though, obviously not for road cycling)
Very interesting. I’m looking forward to this. In my hey day, I just ran. I legit made fellow coworkers mad because I could pace people during their pt tests anywhere from sub 7 minute miles to 9 minute miles. And I never really knew what I was doing, Id just figure it out with my watch and times.I have spotify downloaded and use it to skip and pause songs.
The superb Garmin Forerunner 255 is about to get even better
"Now, that's all changing. Reddit user u/jsann(opens in new tab) has spotted that Garmin is rolling out a new beta software update that will allow the Forerunner 255 to track running power from the wrist alone. Software version 13.15 is currently being sent out to members of Garmin's public beta testing program, and because it's a Release Candidate, if no major bugs are reported, it will be rolled out to everyone very soon."
That update on the 28th improved my connection from phone to watch just enough that it's not an issue anymore. I've grown to really like this watch.Very interesting. I’m looking forward to this. Now I’m my attempted comeback, everything is a giant struggle. I think having this info could be unbelievably valuable to help new know what I’m doing, and where I’m at with training
You said 69…That update on the 28th improved my connection from phone to watch just enough that it's not an issue anymore. I've grown to really like this watch.
I've worked around most of the things I liked better on my Samsung, but the GPS and battery are both worth everything else. Took it off the charger at 100% on Thursday night 10:15. Used GPS about 2 hours and I'm on 69%.
Like he's not already?!Stock up on booze @NorCalVol67...
