Was going to Publix to pick up some booze and there was a line out the door. Was going to go to CVS instead, but as I was walking by a bar, it started raining.

So now I am having beer and calamari. Worst part, their Happy Hour used to be until 7:00, now it ends at 6:00.

Aline at the door of Publix? I have never seen a line go out of a grocery store even during covid.

What Exie said. And this one had lines during the early days of Covid.
Publix shoppers are grimly loyal!

What's your forecast looking like? I'm ready for it to stop being 80° here. In what world do you have to turn on the freakin' AC in AVL in November??

Until it's below 60 24/7 the ac stays on.
Wowsers, what are your electricity bills like?

In the summer, we set the thermostat on 68 during the day and 66 at night, mainly because in this 100-year-old house, the air movement between rooms isn't well-balanced.

I don't know where you guys go to eat but my wife and I have probably eaten out on an average of 3 to 4 nights a week since we have been dating and I can quite honestly say I have NEVER gotten food poisoning from a restaurant. The only time she has was from some food served after a funeral and it was catered. Talking 40+ years here.
3 to 4 nights a week? Are you made of money sir

day 2 of the 20-4 fasting schedule, Had an awesome couple of bowls of my wife's beef vegtable soup last night when I could finally eat, a couple of left over wings from the game, and some celery and cheese. Surprisingly not feeling even hungry this morning, but have had about an extra 24 oz of coffee. It only hurts at lunch time.
