pompano is one of my favorite fish to eat, no scaling is a bonus
I have caught one of those APs in my life (small one from the surf), and I'm pretty sure it was lost hahaha
Because it's not listed as parasite hazardous it's "supposedly" safe for raw consumption. I made some ceviche and a copycat Bonefish Grill Poke bowl that my dad's wife likes, and it was excellent. But seared like tuna is the best way to prepare it.
 
In other culinary news, I'm still eating bacon, eggs, beef, cheese near exclsuively, have reversed my A1C to pre diabetic levels, and my blood work is awesome. Counter to all the midwit geniuses warnings. Haven't lost the weight I would like though need more riggoress excercise, but am still down 60 lbs. But the best part has been knowing that my instincts were right, and 1980's medicine was wrong.
