D4H's 2017 NBA Draft Preview

At this point in his career, he's chasing Kareem's scoring record, he'll smoke Jordan. And pretty sure Lebron would be happy to trade the ball sticking point guard for a D-Wade in his prime. Looking forward to a trade soon.

Well if his goal is a scoring record, I'm not sure why you're interjecting that into a Jordan comparison.

How can you say he didn't make up for it when he led the league in rebounds? Again, everybody else in the league trying their ****ing hardest had less rebounds than him.

Are you Butchna's alter?

Everybody that disagrees with you are my drones.

In terms of shots per game, the 5 seasons before Lebron went to Miami he averaged

23.1
20.8
21.9
19.9
20.1

And never averaged 19 again. Crazy that people would call him selfish.

Kobe averaged 21.5 FGApg playing with Gasol, MWP, Odom, and Bynum. The 3 bigs were very effective scorers and MWP averaged 17 ppg the year before and 11 playing next to Kobe.

There is only one basketball and Kobe took a ton of shots. It's a joke to say he wasn't selfish and that Lebron was.

You mean beyond the talent comparisons I've already discussed?

Subjective opinions. If you want to use career numbers to argue him as an athlete, knock yourself out. He'll never catch Jordan as a player...might not catch Kareem, who delivered the Milwaukee Bucks a championship.

To be properly subjective with my opinions and yours, shouldn't Lebron actually finish his NBA career to compare careers?

So far, he's become the career all time playoff scoring leader. Lots of basketball to play.

I don't think anything he does for the remainder of his career is going to wipe out those Final chokes. Especially the one against the Mavericks. And I'm predicting that scoring average drops more and more every year. The mark of greatness isn't about how many TOTAL points you can squeeze out.

That prediction and 10essee finally winning a division should just about fill up your wishing plate. Bon Appetit.

Rebounds dont win titles. An elite center and key player in a team needs to bring something else to the table besides rebounds.

Nowhere near. I wish a Bama fan would be able to create a message board that could provide you a loving home. :)

So your arguments are that he didn't do anything other than rebound and that because he wasn't good enough to carry old Kobe to a title, he's a bum.

I can't decide which is more absurd.

Dwight Howard center rankings in 2013 with the Lakers:

Scoring - #5
FG% - #2
Rebounding - #1
Blocks - #3

He's a bum and didn't do anything other than rebound. The stats suggest that Kobe should have given him the ball more. Pretty dumb that the guy who is #2 in FG% would be #5 in scoring when he averaged 20.6 ppg the season before.

What did Howard win and what will he ever win? Nothing.

This is a valid argument for keeping Howard out of the GOAT conversation. This is not a valid argument for supporting the idea that he is a bum. Charles Barkley. Karl Malone. John Stockton. Clyde Drexler. Reggie Miller. Etc. All bums?

Just give up.

Dude I was just about to type this very thing. 2 of the top 5-6 PFs no rings, the second best PG no rings another top 6 PG no rings, a top 5-6 SG no rings. Clyde won a ring though.
