Good coach but not good enough for us, in the last coach-search-fiasco, is going to the Cowboys...not impossible but certainly a 'surprise' to me but perhaps I'm in the majority.

He is a good coach and the "not good enough for us" should be sarcasm

As proactive as she is, might have to change Dallas to Texas.

As a Cowboys fan, I just really hope Garrett is fired. I'm still in the 'believe it when I see it' stage. There is just something about Garrett that Jerry likes. It's not as if he has ever been a great coach. The NFC Divisional Playoff round has been the ceiling... but he has lasted 9 seasons.

He can control Garrett
He’ll fire Moore

There is no way on Earth this happens as I have read on this very forum numerous times that he's a terrible coach.
Yeah some people that spew that stuff are the ones. If he turns Tennessee down he sucks and peaked at Mississippi State. If he was our coach we got high hopes because heck did you see what he did at Mississippi State? Sky is the limit here. Hahaha

I’m a Cowboys fan too, and the thing that worries me is how everyone is so sure that Garrett is gone after this season. I am not nearly as confident that this will happen; if Garrett wins the division, I think it’s about 50/50 either way. Everyone else seems to think that Garrett needs to at least make it to the Super Bowl to keep his job, and I just don’t buy that. Like you said, Jerry just really seems to love Garrett for some reason. I don’t think there is any way Jerry fires him if the Cowboys win a playoff game or two this year.

We've beaten one team that has more than 3 wins. 5 of our 6 wins are against teams with 3 wins or less.

The talent is definitely there on the field, but I'm betting not many are expecting we'll win a playoff game if we somehow make it.

If Jerry wanted him he’s gotta go right ? You don’t turn down the Cowboys job with that roster, with the QB who you coached in college that got Mississippi State of all teams to the #1 ranking. The only negative for Dan is obviously the all encompassing pressure/baggage that comes from being the Cowboys head guy. You’re not just dealing with Bianchi and Finebaum anymore, add in all the usual talking head idiots on ESPN morning shows plus Bayless and Cowherd for 6 hours each day. That’s a different animal.

Eh, if it doesn't work out, Jerry will buy him out, no big deal. I think if Mullen has any legit interest in it whatsoever, you take it. The pay is probably the same (or very similar) to what he's making at Florida, but honestly I think big time college coaches work harder than NFL coaches, especially given that Jerry has ultimate control over the roster and Mullen would not.
