Hearing that Mullen to the Cowboys is now a secret, done deal. Dak pulled some strings for him.

Don't tell the Florida recruits.

Wow. That guy is big. So weird. You almost never see big people getting D1 P5 scholarship offers to play o line.

We’re particularly fond of this one because we flipped him from Barney Rubble.

And agree, big kids aren’t uncommon. But not many of our current o-linemen dwarf Tebow.

Keep this rumor going. Mullen has been crushing it on the trail since this became a topic.

Florida signed 6 o-linemen last year. From that class, Ethan White earned extensive playing time this year, the other 5 are marinating in Savage’s strength & training program. So far they have 5 commited in this 2020 class, two mammoth high 4-stars and three solid 3-stars.

So that’s 11 o-linemen in the last two cycles, five of the 11 being 4-star guys, Braun borderline 5 star. So he’s getting guys and he’s getting highly rated guys.

More good news is Mullen’s ability to recruit defensive players. Not sure if you’ve seen, but UF’s defensive class this year is off-the-charts good, at every level of defense. Maybe up there with some of the best ever, Urban Meyer days.
You got a bunch of DT and DBs. Looks like only one DE and LB. No idea what your needs are but it seems really light to be saying off the charts good. And with the numbers at some positions it's hard for it not to be off the charts.

Your average rating is barely, .01asdjfbf, above ours. And we are down.

I didnt follow recruiting during the Meyer years but I dont see this as that impressive.

I’d love if he left bc they way they’re recruiting compared to the way we are, combined with Mullen being a phenomenal coach, we may not beat them for another decade.

While you guys pontificate and fantasise about the demise of UF football, and Mullen skipping town, Mullen just flipped a 335lb 6'6" 4* OT from UGA to UF. 2020 class ranking is 6th on rivals and 247 and we still have 5 or 6 more blue chip targets.

For a guy that can't recruit and is jumping ship any second, it sure looks like he is really hiding it well.
He’s a great coach but let’s face it, we could recruit just as well as he. It’s the sunshine and pretty ladies.

Pruitt is doing just fine.... and we are still fighting for some big fish too. Why is there so much Gator butt kissing on here? It's nauseating.

Will the class hold together this time? Your last class looked great after the signing periods too... Now? Not so much.

....and don't answer that. I just remembered... I really don't care.

If UT fails to beat Florida for another decade, you can cross us off their list as a rival and we'll be at least one coach, if not two since Pruitt's departure.

That had better not be the case.

He did enough at MSU to he considered phenomenal what are you talking about?
2009: 5-7 overall 3-5 SEC
2010: 9-4 overall 4-4 SEC
2011: 7-6 overall 2-6 SEC
2012: 8-5 overall 4-4 SEC
2013: 7-6 overall 3-5 SEC
2014: 10-3 overall 6-2 SEC
2015: 9-4 overall 4-4 SEC
2016: 6-7 overall 3-5 SEC
2017: 8-4 overall 4-4 SEC
Total: 69-46 overall 33-39 SEC

By the traditional standards of Mississippi State, he did a very good job. He also lost at least 4 games in 8 of his 9 seasons and finished 6 games under .500 in the SEC. Give me a break with the superlatives.

I find it funny that people are still debating his MSU record when he has been at UF for two years now. He took a 4-7 team two years ago to two 10 win seasons back to back, top 10 ranking two years in a row (ranking ahead of Alabama this year), and classes ranked 14>9 and this year probably 6-8th, with a very small possibility at a top 5 finish. He is 20-5 at UF, 11-5 SEC record, and that's all with Mcelwain players.

I'm pretty sure you would have called Pruitt a lot more than just "phenomenal" if he had the same record.

As far as the class holding together, 2019 class had significantly more attrition than your average. Unlike 2019, most of the top 2020 commits are Florida boys, which is much easier to deal with than trying to reel in talent from California, Virginia or the Bahamas.

Jerrah isn't interested in college coaches. 😂😂😂

All Jerry Jones's Super Bowls were won by college coaches. But hey, he's the GM. 🤔🤔😂

That is Jerry being Jerry... the only NFL experience that Barry Switzer ever had was with the Cowboys and he also won a Super Bowl. I will still be surprised if Jason Garrett isn't retained for another year.

Mullen leaving for the cowboys would be a dream come true...

And you closet gator fans its not because he is such an amazing coach, he's a very mediocre coach. I hate the cowboys almost as much as the gators and the turmoil this would cause for both programs would be delightful.

As for vol fans slurping on Mullen, you should be ashamed of yourself. I can almost get the slurping on satan but mullen??? really? pathetic.

So Urban Meyer said he would definitely take the call from the Cowboys. But Jerry Jones would take Mullen over Meyer? Yeah that makes sense lol.
