Da'Rick Rogers invited to UT's pro day??

you think he is entitled to come back to campus, regardless of getting kicked off. I don't.

You're making a way bigger deal out of it than it is. He ran a couple patterns and lifted some weights on UT's campus.

It's clear you hold quite a bit of resentment towards Da'Rick and that is clouding your vision of this situation IMO.

How the hell does having an opinion on a kicked off player turn into me thinking I'm superior? That drama bs is what the ff is famous for. You guys don't like my opinion. I don't care.
And I already stated that I understood why Butch allowed him back, but accuracy isn't important.

You clearly don't. You think Da'rick was the one approaching the staff. You're wrong. Now tell us how this is all about the corrupt and terrible young entitled generation again.

Darick could be a great ambassador for Tennessee in the future. I think allowing him to come back is a great thing.

The worst part of American society is the vast swath of old uneducated folks who think because they're old they're right.

We are the generation of entitlement!!!! Yet, they sit at their house and collect social security checks while we pay into it knowing we will never get anything in return. Sounds like we feel entitled to me, jmo.

You are right, I never got kicked out of college. I don't care about random chick. The discussion is about a player that didn't care enough to be a part of the program, but wants to be back to help him when he needs help.

Wow, so did Da'rick get with your girl/wife/daughter/mom? You seem to be really butt-hurt about Da'Rick coming back for our pro-day. Big Montori got kicked off the team and he was allowed to come back, however you are not getting your panties in a wad over Montori.

we are seriously comparing a girl who got drunk too much at age 19 and had to go home to a scholarship football player with a free ride and 1st round nfl potential?

Perspective is nowhere.

Both were college students. Both were on scholly most likely. Both were assumed to have responsibilities whether they be athletic or acedemic. Both made bad choices. You're saying his one bad choice to smoke pot (which honestly is a couple years away from being legalized and is honestly less harmful than alchohol) should completely ruin his life but getting dunk and failing out deserves a second shot?

I ask you...where is your perspective and where is your humanity? To actually wish bad will on someone you don't know.

Not to mention the fact that he's online during the work day tells me he's either:

A. Unemployed -or-
B. Too lazy to actually do work at work, so he's collecting checks for nothing.

He sure as hell isn't a student.

Man, I have an opinion that he shouldn't have been allowed back on campus. That's all. Unless he is reenrolling in school, then he can do as he pleases. Already stated he was always friendly. Already stated I understood why Butch allowed him back.
I hope he kills it in the pros.
That's not resentment. The ff is just too emotional for someone to have an opinion. It has to be turned into a soap opera with personal life stories and shots at a supposed old mans lack of education.

Oh really? You were in there? You know many of his teammates? Clueless.

He was invited back by the coaching staff. He didn't ask, he didn't beg. He was invited.

I've been trying to get this through in the Football talk thread.

People think they know everything...

They invited him so he would say UT when they do his NFL promo instead of his hometown or high school.

The UTAD felt comfortable enough allowing him to use their facilities. Good enough for me

How dare you bring common sense to this tar and feathering of Ol' David Ricky! No kid ever get a bit to big for his breeches, and once he gets knocked down for it, he shouldn't ever be allowed to come back from some bad judgement that didn't even get him arrested!

I didn't get your panties in a wad about either one of them. Just made my opinion, and I mentioned Montori. I mentioned any player.

You guys are the ones that can't take my opinion. I haven't told anyone else they were wrong, have I?

The soap opera continues.

The kid is a Vol! He's more a Vol than a Tenn Tech player. This doesn't hurt anything. He is not hurting the team by beinf there. once a Vol, always a Vol. Plus, I want Da'Rick saying "University of Tennnessee" at his Pregame intros in the pros. He made his name here.

you guys are flat out loony tunes. And you got 2 likes!

Post where I wished ill will on DR. Or post where I just posted that I hope he kills it in the pros.
Again, drama rules in the ff. Accuracy means squat.

You said, and I quote-

which very directly implies that you believe Da'rick was the one who initiated his participation in the pro day.

As for the bold, you've created a debate around an issue that doesn't exist, and all anyone has been doing is telling you you're out of your mind.

You're waffling.

There's no drama. There's an out-of-touch poster rambling on a non-issue and looking like a tool. That's not drama.

I'm 42, work from my home, and own 2 small medical companies. I also know about 10 VN members and just went to a Preds game with 3, if you have any questions.
I graduated from UT in '93.

Now, your insults just turned you into a fool. Sounds to me like you are a punk that needs to be put in his place.

It'll happen soon, and remember this post when it does.

Then you're not doing so hot if you're able to sit and argue with a fool on the internet all day.

You are full of ****. I didn't once say he initiated. I said he wants help now. Obviously he did, or he wouldn't have gone.
