Da'Rick Rogers invited to UT's pro day??

smug douche, clown...that's what I remember off the top.

I can take it. Just don't cry when I finally fire back. You seem to track down where I am posting and fire little shots, but then call me a hypocrite.

I never track you down. Any thread I open you are posting in telling everyone how to think and post.

I do think you're a smug douche. Maybe I'm wrong. As far as me being an entitled punk, you're wrong.

You and some others simply seem to be out of touch with the expectations of college atheletes. In many cases these players are the faces of the university (any university) that they play for. This is fact and like it are not....they are held to a higher standard than the general student body. Do all players realize this and embrace this? Of course not! It's really unfortunate for those who "don't" or "won't" get it. They are given EVERY opportunity to right their ship but are simply too immature or selfish to conform to the responsibilities of the team and the program. At the end of the day that's their choice. It just bothers me...that as if the coaches didn't bend over backwards enough, they invite a player like that back to perform in our pro day. I love Coach Jones don't get me wrong, but in this case I would've let DaRick figure out his best "path" to the NFL since he didn't want to stay on ours!

I am sorry that you do not understand an 18-20 year old has a difficult time realizing the damage that they are causing. They think they are invincible and that the consequences don't matter. I am not out of touch, sir. I just understand that the world isn't the fairy tale that you heard about when you were a kid. Your idols were out doing this crap, and I am sorry that I had to be the one to tell you that.

The truth is that people do whatever it is they want to do, and the majority of players know how to do these things without getting busted. It is the players that DGAF that end up getting busted and kicked off the team.

you keep saying this but it's not true. Easiest example is admissions requirements

so that "every opportunity" doesn't include an NFL pro day in Knoxville? Interesting

No sir...it does not. If you're that good, scouts will find you....fact! Countless current NFL starters were discovered in lower tier schools and divisions.

Even if you are THAT good they are afraid to draft you high because of lack of competition. They can't invest in you without knowing you can compete against the best; so you lose millions by being dropped into the later rounds. FACT

then you shouldn't use the word "every" to describe it

FACT.....you obviously don't know about all the SEC footage scouts have on him. FACT....based on that alone, they've got a pretty good idea of what his capabilities are. FACT....they are not going to base his draft status on what he did this year. So know your FACTS.

I didn't tell anyone how to think or post in this thread. Quite the opposite. Just gave my opinion. You showed up anyway.

Everyone's an entitled punk because he runs his own business.

Lol. You think I didn't know he played for the university of Tennessee? I was referring to the fact that you can't always get as far going to a smaller school. Idiot.

Oh...I'm glad to know that. I thought that was a pretty "idiotic" thing to point out if you didn't! Oh, and don't call me an idiot just because I make valid points that you may not like.

You guys treat Rogers like a 4th string WR.

This guy was our star WR for the lighter part of 2 years. He carried this team on a couple games. Anyone who put on the orange Jersey and ran through the T gets my respect.

Besides all he did was smoke a little weed.............some of you act like he stole your girlfriend or wife.

Thanksgiving must be lonely at some of your homes. I mean, with your kids not being allowed back after making a mistake and all. Some really poor values being displayed here today. You'd rather step on your fellow Man's neck than lend him a hand? That is ****ing disgraceful. Thankfully, Coach Jones isn't a spiteful dick like some here. Bottom line... He did get to come back and I hope it helps him. If that upsets you, I think it's a personal problem.

To the op. I'm just glad Dooley is gone, with his hum drum way of doing things. I trust Butch Jones to get it done. I'm all in!

I didn't get your panties in a wad about either one of them. Just made my opinion, and I mentioned Montori. I mentioned any player.

You guys are the ones that can't take my opinion. I haven't told anyone else they were wrong, have I?

The soap opera continues.

The high horses some of you ride on is pretty funny. Fortunately for Darick and Montori the University of Tennessee coaching staff as well as the athletic department could care less. Funny how that works. You voice your opinion yet the people that call the shots don't care. Interesting. Matter of fact said opinion doesn't matter to anything UT related. Ah but you always have VolNation.

For the record...I'm around 400 high schoolers a day as a teacher and a coach. I promise you I don't live in a fairy tale world. I assure you I have a much better guage of today's athelete and what they deal with than you "sir". But that's ok...you can believe what you want believe. Some of are just a little more in tune than others.

You can act like a DA on here everyday, but I can't have an opinion on DR coming back to campus.

Entitled ignorance is even worse.

You can have and express opinion. However, people also have a right to have an opinion on your opinion. So, I'm not sure where you're coming at with this whole "entitled ignorance" thing.

Being pissy that people are expressing an opinion about your opinion is a little hypocritical. But then again that's just my opinion.

The word opinion kind of looks like the word onion.
