David Ortiz is a fat slob and a disgrace to the game

I would hope you guys would come to support one of your players.. Not trying to get Red Sox fans going, I just don't like him.

I think A-Rod is as big of a smug jerk-off as they make, but making a thread about it just dumb.

Ortiz is, for we know, one of the most fun-loving good guys the league has to offer.

Like J said, a pitcher being aggressive when being killed is bushleague.

I hate the red sox, but the guy is one of the more likable guys in the league. Nothing close to a disgrace IMO.

I'm not sure why I don't really like him.. You know how there are some people you just don't like for no reason, I think thats what this may be.

I agree with throwing inside being down by 7 is a somewhat bushleague. But this is the pro's, and you've got to be a man about it, and don't get all pissy because it does happen.

Somewhat?

Be a man about a guy throwing 90 plus at you for no apparent reason.

Easy to say when you are typing about baseball and your job doesn't depend on you being a fat-ass who just happens to pound the ball off bums like Gregg.

I didn't realize throwing inside, was throwing at you. If there wasn't a DH, the fat-ass wouldn't be playing ball.

Because it takes a stud to man first base.

Did he bore out your wife's balloon knot or something? You're a little disturbed with this

No joke, a cardboard cut-out could play 1st.

I don't care what anyone says, throwing at someone down by that many is bushleague.

After watching the video a few times and reviewing the evidence..Papi is my new hero. :loco:

Seriously though..he would fudge Gregg up. He should have kept his mouth shut.

It's garbage.

At that point you're not trying to control the plate, you're just being a jackass.
That's utter stupidity. Last time I checked, baseball doesn't have a clock you can kneel down and run out. Play the same way at 10-2 you'd play at 2-1.

I have to agree with this. Cleveland won off a walk off grandslam last night.....oh yeah.

wasn't even much of a fight..considering there both 6'4" plus and 230 plus...neither landed a punch

FWIW, if he was in the NL playing 1st, he'd be probably be more svelte.

Oh, and ESPN has him listed as 6'4", 130 lbs. Doesn't sound that bad to me at all.
