I would not doubt that it is aided; if I were an MLB player, I would still be using PEDs: the Hall of Fame is nice but you cannot spend a Hall of Fame induction like you can cash. Until the penalty is a one and done for a positive test, it is still lucrative to risk getting caught.

The difference is that Ortiz is not an athlete. Look at Prince Fielder for instance. He is a pretty big guy his self, but he can run, he's pretty agile for his size, and can actually move pretty well. Ortiz doesn't.

Your hate for Ortiz is borderline comedic at this point.

I don't care if you are fatter and can actually move and be an "athlete" but if you are overweight and can't play the sport the way it should be, that's what bothers me. I could care less if Ortiz was 450 pounds if could move well, but he can't.

Hey, I don't like the DH as well but if the American League says all you have to do is hit for a spot in the lineup then that is all you have to do.

Throwing inside in the big leagues is always ok in my book. These big pussy hitters hang all over the plate with body armor on and then get mad when someone hits them. Huge forearm and elbow guards need to be outlawed.

I can't believe people get upset over this topic. Throw wherever, except at someones head. If u get mad, then charge. Both are part of the game. I guess next folks will want fighting in hockey to stop
