DC Black Hawk vs Plane crash.

So a total and complete clusterfreak multiple days in a row that only happens in government jobs where nobody gets fired. Sounds about right. If you watch the video up there...the helicopter pilot had the plane directly in front of her, not beside her. She flew a very long way straight at it to strike it. Good grief. What in the world was she doing?

He was. But that doesn’t necessarily mean his point was invalid. Reports are They had an abnormal staffing at the airport that night, had one controller controlling helicopter and airplanes which is usually split between the 2. If that is a result of the shortage based on an idiotic quota and them turning away 1000 qualified controllers, then yes his point would be valid

What would that have to do with DEI??

Does not look like a direct result of DEI, but Trump is privy to some information we don't have and popped off too soon.

The DEI initiatives in ATC are not new. They just picked up steam since 2008. Ex-father-in-law was an ATC and had stories about things done to work around incompetent controllers to keep the planes safe. And the incompetent ones were "promoted" off the floor into management.
Interesting. Do you know when they started prior to 08?

Worked in HR for a long time. You know what we did? We opened up job opportunities to everyone regardless of race, sex, religion, etc.

Then we hired the most qualified candidate regardless of race, sex, religion, etc.

Then we gave all the money we saved from not having some ridiculous DEI program to the Black Lives Matter organization. Because they really understand money management and fiscal responsibility.

It's a stretch to say HR "works".....

Well you see, if I make up a scenario where it was because of DEI, then it would be about DEI. So obviously we should spend the entire day talking about DEI
I’ve already stated the specific crash wasn’t because of DEI.

However if you’re trying to reach quota’s and diversify a specific field and turn down 1000 qualified applicants because “they’re too white” in said field that results in being short staffed… You see no issue with that?

Sure there's an issue with that! Anytime it's going on, but Where, specifically, is that model being used. Is it a player with a company in an industry that's a major driver of our economy?

How on Earth do you justify the conclusion that THE reason for short staffing is because of DEI? Or quotas ?

You are just making that up. Just like Trump. Hoping people overlook the details and lack of evidence to support the theory.

The hiring of ATC’s. It’s shocking many people didn’t know this prior to last night

Lol. If someone says in a lawsuit that they weren't hired because they're white, then on this board it's a fact. But if someone says in a lawsuit that they weren't hired because they're black, then they're playing the race card and people are deeply skeptical

Night before DC crash, another airliner nearly collided with a helicopter: report

The night before American Eagle Flight 5342 collided with an Army Black Hawk helicopter near Reagan National Airport on Wednesday night, a jet that tried to land at the same airport had to circle around and make another approach after a helicopter approached its flight path, according to reports.

The Washington Post reported that an audio recording from air traffic control captured the encounter, and ultimately, Republic Airways Flight 4514 landed safely, flight tracking software shows.
