It goes without saying Tennessee did not get the news they hoped for with Jordan Seaton on Thursday morning. This one had been a roller coaster for a minute, and Colorado quietly worked this one into a commitment.
It felt like the Vols hit the right buttons down the stretch, and in working this up to the decision, it felt like the Vols had some momentum heading in. Still, Seaton played his cards close to his vest, especially over the last 72 hours, and now it is pretty clear why.
-VQNow, with Seaton's commitment to Deion Sanders' program, this one could still be a thrill a minute to signing day. We would have said the same thing had he chosen Tennessee on Thursday morning. Multiple programs still have in-home visits available, and they will work this to the finish line, but it will be a tall task to pull off a flip, in our estimation.
LolUsername checks out
It was a joke, you dork lolLol
Pot meet kettle
Maybe his last name is white
Jesus people are so sensitive with race
It’s ridiculous
Black people get mad when the n word is used by people like MW yet buy all the rap albums it’s said in
BLM didn’t help anyone
People who cry/march/protest/riot over race are a major part of the problem bc they are either just as racist as people they are bitching about or 100x worse and they keep the problem going
The planet wasn’t ready for social media as a whole. People are way way way too sensitive
Omg, he said this, she said that, how about get the **** over it and quit complaining about little **** and start paying attention to what’s really going on
you are the one playing the demographics game with all the black players in the NFL, but you don't want to recognize that 100% of all NFL players ever are MALE? why would you expect there to be ANY female representation if you are relying on player demographics to make your argument? Now break down the % of black players in the NFL and power 5 football.
Also if you wanted to normalize you wouldn’t differentiate male/female since the sport is 99.9% coached by males at this higher level.
I would love to see a league made up of players where each team had to have the exact racial make up as the country. So many whites, Latino, Asians, blacks, American Indian, ect...you are the one playing the demographics game with all the black players in the NFL, but you don't want to recognize that 100% of all NFL players ever are MALE? why would you expect there to be ANY female representation if you are relying on player demographics to make your argument?
I didn't think anything about the bolded until Jordan's comments but:He picked the head coach obviously. Deion fired half his staff and he still committed. Do they even have an oline coach right now? I think it’s a bad decision for him, but I understand why he feels the way he does.
If it’s not racist to want to see representation in movies, tv, etc then I don’t see how it can be racist in sports, especially when such a large portion of the athletes are black at the power 5 level.
