What are you talking about lol the above math is all male. The African American population total is 40 million and about half is male.Stop breaking it out by male/female when all 133 coaches are male.
Edit: Also as we discussed it doesn’t make sense just to look at total population, you need to look at the % of black players in the sport for the best estimation.
Just a complete and epic fail. All head coaches at this level are male. So normalize the data by the male population. Basically you are saying black females should have about 10 head coaching positions at this level, lmao. What are you talking about lol the above math is all male. I simply did the math for you. Sorry it hurts your feelings.
Regarding your edit another comment that makes zero sense lol
Why would it matter the number of athletes color is black….. it’s because this is football and they’re on the field playing the game. The hired black coaches as shown with math are actually over represented.
If you’re suggesting handing out non black athletes/ white kids scholarships for inclusion or whatever your little argument you’re failing at is…. Be my guest lol
He wouldn't come here based on what I saw. If he even thought about it, Vol Twitter killed that. If former players are speaking up to defend recruits, it's a bad look. People get their hopes up to get a recruit and they lash the f out.A lot of people saying it’s a long way to signing day on this one. And frankly, I’m not sure how I feel about that.
167 million white males and 20 million African American males so my quick math is 12 percent of the population, So again still in line with this even with the correction….. not the disparity in numbers of black coaches versus the population as you suggested.Just a complete and epic fail. Comparing total population % rather than demographics that actually PARTICIPATE in the sport is just an awful way to do this so it’s not even worth discussing.
Your response to my 2nd point is not even worth responding to if that’s what you took from it.
I agree with this, but the way this kid played everyone, and now we know we threw 7 figures at him, I don't think it's just Vol Twitter roasting the kid... Other programs he duped are doing it as well, and with how he played everyone, he deserves the backlash that he's getting. There's a right way and wrong way to do things and he definitely burned bridges with this. He has to live with the consequences he's brought on himself. Good luck at CO.He wouldn't come here based on what I saw. If he even thought about it, Vol Twitter killed that. If former players are speaking up to defend recruits, it's a bad look. god I love a good self own.167 million white males and 20 million African American males so my quick math is 12 percent of the population, So again still in line with this even with the correction….. not the disparity in numbers of black coaches versus the population as you suggested.
Regarding your edit. Probably smart to not address it because you will indeed just open yourself up to your failed point about representation in the sport.
White athletes are less represented in football because they are typically not as good of an athlete than the African American population especially noted at the “Skill” positions.
Yes, I would think it would be a really bad thing to have a coach selling race as a reason to pick a school. I would think… Well, we got a 5* to help our class, but I don’t like this. I said yesterday that he was an idiot for passing up all the great opportunities for development, exciting games and possible playoffs just to play for the “persona.” Now he is pushing race because his halo got tarnished.Would anyone give a rats ass if Seaton made rhe comments he did if it was regarding a UT coach? Even If we did we'd be rationalizing it for a top recruit.
This one stings because he deceived us, but the weak explanation he gave as to why is immaterial. In fact his reasoning makes me happier because it means we didn't drop the ball on something we could have controlled. Heup can't make himself black, but at least we did not get out bid. I am also glad our coach does not do this sort of cheese ball stuff. Butch and Lane did it some and it kind of worked until it didn't. Lane has matured and chilled and Butch is at some backwater. I suspect the Deion strategy will fair similarly in the long run.
White students can get minority scholarships at majority Black colleges right now, so….What are you talking about lol the above math is all male. The African American population total is 40 million and about half is male.

I promise you we benefitted from Cuonzo being a role model for young black kids. They just weren’t interviewed on national tv saying it.Yes, I would think it would be a really bad thing to have a coach selling race as a reason to pick a school. Don’t care if we get him at this point. However I do agree this is a bad look on our fans right now.He wouldn't come here based on what I saw. If he even thought about it, Vol Twitter killed that. Doesn’t but speak to the character of Seaton. At first blush it seems Boo feels he was misled by Seaton. In any case it’s time to move on, this kid is an idiot. Some of our fans on social media have put our program in a bad light bc they’re so outraged about his actions.I'm not sure that it matters whether or not it "sits well with Boo."
