'24 DC OT Jordan Seaton (Future Portal Entry)

When I click on Spyre sports, it takes me to the Club membership. Of which I give too.

Not sure how they are different.
I just do the math. Vol club supports EVERY athlete at UT and some athletes through NIL merchandise sales. If even every membership of the 4000 were $500 level (which they are not), that’s $2 mil. We’re throwing around a lottt more than that.

I have no idea for sure, but would imagine Spyre directs you to Vol Club because that’s how the majority of people will give (that and direct gifts to programs through the university). But I bet big donors are in direct contact with Spyre brokering and funding major player NIL deals.

I personally give to Vol club to support all UT athletes, then I also give to the football excellence fund because that’s what I care most about. Haven’t ever considered that I might have enough $ to work directly with Spyre.

I would say, judging by the dudes that run the joint. And knowing how ish works. They connected. If there are ATL Vols out there, they dont fly coach, they dont walk past the Delta Sky Club, and they dont pass the valet.

$500 a month x 12 months x 4000 members = $24,000,000.00 per year, so yes $2 million per month. Which isn’t anything to sneeze at.

Agreed, seems like a big number. I have no idea how to gauge whether that’s a lot or not though. But if Nico accounts for 166k a month of 2 mil (who knows if that’s a real number - prob not), and he’s not even starting, is that 24mil really enough for all of UT athletics? Can’t imagine so. Also, no doubt the average membership is probably more like $50-100 a month, not the $500 I calculated to be generous, so a realistic number is probably more like $200-400k.

It all means nothing because we’re just guessing and throwing random numbers and concepts around. My point is, I don’t think Spyre is the same thing as volunteer club, like a square is a rectangle but a rectangle isn’t a square, and there’s got to be money flowing around outside of what Vol club accounts for in order to support these big time athletes (no knock against Vol club, every dollar counts, please join if you haven’t already).

Spyre runs volunteer club so yes Spyre is the same as volunteer club

IMG offensive tackle Jordan Seaton has a similar group of teams with Florida being involved with Alabama and Tennessee. You can’t discount FSU and Colorado either. He will be back in town officially for the Georgia game in November. This recruitment has several twists and turns left in our opinion so Tennessee will need to settle in for the long haul.

We have good tackles.
After this year, we have Umarov, Mincey, and Grant as true OTs. Grant was a huge project and we don’t know if he’ll ever be what we need. Mincey may go pro, but even if he doesn’t, he’s gone after 2024. I think they like Umarov’s potential, but he’s more of a RT than LT. Bennett Warren will be a freshman in 2024.

We obviously need more tackles.
