DEI = Racism

The Public College in a deep-red state that Blows $13M on DEI and Fighting 'whiteness'

A top US public university in a deep-red state blows through $13 million a year on its huge diversity team, a shocking study shows.

Auditors say Ohio State University's diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) team is so bloated, its salaries alone would cover tuition costs for 1,000 in-state students at the main campus in Columbus.

OpenTheBooks.com, which tracks public funds, lifted the lid on how such college DEI chiefs as James L. Moore and Keesha Mitchell earn an eye-popping $300,000 each year — about five times a typical Ohio salary.

I've posted this other places, get .gov out of the student loan business and our culture would change in less than a presidential term. And change for the better.
That and/or allow people to bankrupt those loans. You will see the size and scope of colleges change in a semester as they shut down stupid useless degree programs.

Eagles fan Ryan Caldwell's employers make decision after viral video of him abusing female Packers fan

The Eagles fan who verbally abused a female Packers supporter is under investigation by his employers, who branded his comments 'completely unacceptable'.

The foul-mouthed rant, which has gone viral in recent days, took place at Lincoln Financial Field as the Eagles cruised to a 22-10 win over the Packers in the Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs.

At one point, Eagles fan Ryan Caldwell, who works for a DEI-focused management consulting firm in East Brunswick, New Jersey, refers to the woman as an 'ugly, dumb c***'.

^^^ its a different time man. Everyone carries a video recorder with them everywhere they go. Cant be a terrible human to people out in public. I didnt see the video...but thats a terrible way to talk to a woman and visiting fan (or anyone, ever). She may have said horrible things to him before that, I have no idea. I know if someone yelled that at my wife or daughter though, I would catch a charge for washing their mouth out with knuckles...because I am a Neanderthal. Fortunately, I dont take my wife or kids to places where hostile fans get falldown drunk...especially Philly who are reputed to be the meanest, rudest fanbase in all of sports. They made the news recently for booing their own Eagles for punting when they were up 14-0.

It was just selective outrage(DEI) bringing it to this thread. It doesn't even fit this thread's theme(DEI=Racism). The guy in the article just happens to work for a firm that facilitates DEI staffing. Makes for convenient DEI rage bait.

While I don't advocate cancel culture, I don't feel sorry for anyone that dumb in this age of digital recording, either. The girl didn't do anything except cheer for her team. The idiot in the video was just being an exceptionally toxic imbecile.
I know if someone yelled that at my wife or daughter though, I would catch a charge for washing their mouth out with knuckles...
Honestly, that would do more justice than doxxing the guy on the internet, potentially costing him his job, and this now showing up on all his background checks.
Even a belligerent arsehole can learn a lesson from a humbling ass whooping and move on for the better.
..because I am a N̶e̶a̶n̶d̶e̶r̶t̶h̶a̶l̶ pragmatic.
Nope. You're just not pretentious and acknowledge your primary instincts.

How about don’t be a terrible human to people anywhere, anytime? That seems a better, more noble course to take 🤷‍♀️

Fired, and banned from Eagles games btw ^

He just stood there and watched her get harassed. I wouldn't have started a fight. But I would have put me between him and her
I doubt swapping seats with his wife would have changed anything. The belligerent guy was already yelling at both of them.
In the video, Caldwell is seen shouting at the woman - who is wearing a Packers beanie - from his seat in the row behind.
After a play is reviewed by officials, he is heard taunting the couple. 'It's not a touchdown, so you don't jerk off c** in the air.'
Basara responded: 'Ok, well don't call her a dumb c***.' That prompted an angry response from Caldwell.
'She's an ugly, dumb c***,' the Eagles fan snapped back. 'You gonna do anything?'

Wouldn't have changed anything with that guy. I just would make sure I'm between him and her
That's definitely a fair point. The more I think about it the more I agree with your stance that he's a complete POS too.

Not only did he not put himself between them, he just stood there filming. Then after the game, he posts the video to Twitter asking for Packers fans to help dox the guy. He could have just immediately found security and shown them the video rather than calling for a social media witch hunt.

I can't feel sorry for the belligerent guy losing his job. Finding out a few days later the guy worked for an initiative I oppose(DEI) doesn't make it a good case of cancel culture, though.

Lame Duck Biden Admin Spends $1 Mil in Taxpayer Funds on Foreign DEI Programs

Money will go to 'marginalized' and 'underrepresented groups' in Indonesia, Guatemala, and Kenya, documents show

The Biden-Harris administration quietly pushed out $1 million in taxpayer funding late last year for diversity, equity, and inclusion programs abroad, marking a last-ditch effort to cement its left-wing agenda before President-elect Donald Trump takes office, non-public funding documents reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon show.

The funding initiatives reflect a broader effort from outgoing secretary of state Antony Blinken to embed a host of DEI initiatives at home and abroad ahead of Trump’s Jan. 20 inauguration.
