Wasn’t until they lurched forward with demands for equal outcomes (Equity) that it completely went off the rails.
 

Halting Foreign Aid to Target DEI​


Trump is also putting a stop to all issuance of new foreign aid.

Two senior White House officials confirmed to DailyMail.com the order targets all foreign aid that doesn't fit within the U.S. strategic goals.

The aim is to crackdown on spending outside U.S. interests and prevent American taxpayer funds from working against them or promoting 'diversity, equity and inclusion' agendas.

The order is likely to immediately halt the distribution of U.S. money from going to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), which distributes aid in Gaza and is accused of close ties to the terror group Hamas .

The UN admitted that nine of UNRWA staff may have been involved in the October 7, 2023 attack on Israel.

 

Trump Orders All Federal DEI Offices To Close by Wednesday​


Federal agencies must shutter their diversity, equity, and inclusion offices and place DEI staff on paid leave by 5 p.m. Wednesday ahead of layoffs, the Trump administration announced in a memorandum.

The Office of Personnel Management instructed agencies to take down all DEI-related websites and social media accounts by the deadline. By noon Thursday, agencies must report on steps taken to implement the order, including a list of all DEI offices and employees as of Election Day. A written plan detailing the "reduction-in-force action" for DEI staffers is due 5 p.m. Friday, according to the memorandum.

Leading UK Universities Look to Expand Use of Open-Book Exams to Help Grades of Minority Students​


Leading British universities are preparing to lower test standards in a bid to help improve the grades of ethnic minorities and poorer students in a major DEI initiative.

The universities of Oxford and Cambridge are among those preparing to implement “inclusive assessments” such as open-book exams and take-home essays rather than monitored in-person testing in the hopes of cutting the gaps between groups of students, The Telegraph reported.

The Walt Disney Company is doubling down on DEI just as President Donald Trump is in the process of removing the controversial programs from the federal government, calling them “illegal” in his recent executive order.

Disney touted its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in its annual proxy statement filed this week with the Securities and Exchange Commission in which the company said that it incorporates DEI into its board selection process as well as executive bonuses.

It even classified “diversity” under the category of “skills and experience.”

Donald Trump to Ban Transgender Troops And DEI Military Programs in latest executive order flurry​


President Donald Trump is turbocharging his attack on government diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs by now banning the practice from the military.

Trump plans to sign two executive orders this week that will both eliminate DEI from the military and prohibit transgender people from the services, DailyMail.com confirmed.

 

Target is Banned From Pride Parade as revenge For Axing DEI Policies​


Target has been banned from participating in the Minneapolis Pride parade after the retail store decided to axe its DEI program.

The retailer has long supported Twin Cities Pride, but after news broke of the company deciding to cut back on its policies, the pride organization's Executive Director Andi Otto banished the store and its $55,000 in funding.

This is not the first time Target has been in the DEI spotlight, as the store previously faced backlash for selling Pride-themed merchandise for children.

Since 2013 the retailer has sold inclusive clothing, but ahead of its Pride product release in June 2024, the company chose to scale back its children's clothing in that department.

The adult-only options come a year after calls to boycott the brand over its collection, including 'tuck-friendly' swimsuits and children's T-shirts with the slogan: 'Trans People Will Always Exist!'

 

DEI in Full Swing at Metro Nashville Government as Employees Encouraged to Participate in ‘Foundations of Conscious Inclusion’ Program​


The Metro Nashville Government is continuing to embrace DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) despite a complete shutdown of such initiatives at the federal level.

An email from a Metro Nashville Government employee obtained by The Tennessee Star shows that all Metro employees have been invited to attend a DEI program led by Metro Human Resources entitled “Foundations of Conscious Inclusion series.”

Sent to Metro employees on Friday, the email explains that the DEI program is being led by Metro Human Resources’ Workforce Diversity team “with support from certified facilitators from various Metro departments.”

The Foundations of Conscious Inclusion program, according to the email sent to Metro employees, is “designed to generate discussion and introspection around topics central to navigating difference, bias, and equity in the workplace.”
