I don't have a beef with Cobbs, the coaches, or anyone except the posters who said we only lost Cobbs because he's overrated. At least TOP didn't flip-flop in this situation, as I do seem to recall him saying he wasn't high on Cobbs even when he committed to UT (the real one).

But even if the coaches cooled on Cobbs, it doesn't mean he sucks. It probably just means they feel confident about another athlete higher on their board.

I wish Cobbs nothing but the best of luck at Texas.

i'm not a troll i'm just realistic unlike some of you...we arent going to be as pleased with this class as some of you think. i just don't see it

I'm pretty sure Texas offered long before he committed to us. I think reports came out that Texas had cooled on him at some point, but that evidently isn't the case now.

I mean situations and people change. It's part of it. I knew we were going to lose a few because that's how it goes and I don't think every team keeps ALL their commitments over the course of the entire season/off season. Best of luck Cobbs. The silver lining to this is that we have another scholarship spot to give to, as Kiffin puts it, "the best players in the nation." This may open another door for us. Only time will tell

no...i highly doubt that considering we dont compete too much texas for recruits and considering mack brown is one of the most respectable coaches in college football. He wouldnt do that
