Department of Government Efficiency - DOGE

You bought into the "mandate means do whatever you want" stupid ass talking point and the "judicial branch can't tell the executive what to do" stupid ass talking point, then someone points out both are FOS and you have nothing left to say except deflecting lol, talk about credulity
I never said "do what you want", nor that the judicial branch doesn't have any oversight. So, you may want to just go back to your dumb "king" talking point.

But alas, nice diversion from the points about the ACTUAL government overstep and political coup that you couldn't be bothered to give a **** about.

"judicial branch can't tell the executive what to do" stupid ass talking point,

If they lack jurisdiction or authority, they can say whatever they want... that doesn't mean the executive branch has to carry out the order if they court lack jurisdiction or authority. (which might be where this starts heading)

TIFWIW (from discussion with Washington Policy Group of Large Firm) - Rs want to increase debt ceiling by 4-5T. Any savings cuts are being reallocated to border and mostly to defense so no noticeable decrease to discretionary spending. Probably will need favorable dynamic scoring and/or Medicaid cuts to get no tax on tips/overtimes. SALT increase will be needed to get bill through...
One of Trump's defense EOs would cost ~$2.5T. It's great they stopped $20mil but the big numbers are still out there and just not being discussed. Will be interesting to watch the reaction

If the judicial branch doesn't have oversight over the executive because "the executive branch manages itself" or whatever then the judicial branch is largely toothless, genius. Doing that to entire branches of government affects us more than a "political coup" largely for show and with no effect does. This is the last I'm indulging whatabout BS from several years ago though, if I spent the last few years arguing about DOJ and Putin then people would criticize that too

The executive branch manages itself, just like the Supreme Court manages itself and as does the legislative branch manages itself. The rest of the courts only exist because of legislation and can be dissolved.

Some of decisions by the executive branch have no judicial review, see Constitution. Matter of fact, DOJ claimed such when Obama, Biden and Hillary murdered a 16 year old American.

Saying that I believe them to have overstepped in this way, and in this instance, is not saying that they should never have any oversight. You are conveniently creating a false dilemma.

A judge telling the executive branch that their appointed dept head can't see the dept data looks to me like a huge overstep. Having seen this same government weaponized against this same President, it's not hard for me to hold that stance.

But you've already stated that you've had no ****s to give about all of that. It's just "Orange Man Evil, let's not question anything that will hurt him" as you accuse others of not caring about political abuses--which is EXACTLY what we've cared about for 10 years or so... "genius".

Your explanation of why they "overstepped" was a stupid one. The court didn't say the department head can't see the department data, that's yet another stupid ass Twitter talking point that you fell for. I might as well be interacting with Benny Johnson or Charlie Kirk since you're just regurgitating their BS lol, no one thinks critically anymore

You are the one over there saying the judicial branch manages the executive branch.

The post I responded to said that no other person is capable of doing what Trump is doing, which is objectively stupid
No, the post you responded to was SpaceCoastVol asking worship? You are the poster that claimed Trump was being worshipped and he wasn't to only person who could "clean house" on DC. If you didn't troll so much, maybe you could remember what you typed. So who are you claiming the could do the job?

No, the post you responded to was SpaceCoastVol asking worship?
Please read better
As of this term, pretty much A+ if not A++. You are not capable of doing what that guy is doing.... nobody could.
Nobody could? Trump is the #1 and only one person out of 350+ million that could take these actions? Politicians mostly suck, we don't need to worship like this
If you think that literally no other person can do what Trump is doing and that he is literally #1 out of 350+ million people in this country then yes, that is worship

Oh, irony is palpable. I'll just leave it at that.

A 4.5-5T debt ceiling increase coupled with an increase in spending to the largest discretionary line item. Id love to see how that gets spun....

Why am I not surprised that the Rs would shoot themselves in the foot?

Isn’t it interesting how Trump can say “Those big monster car manufacturing plants that you’re building in Mexico right now, and you think you’re going to get that, you’re going to not hire Americans, and you’re going to sell the cars to us? No. We’re going to put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across the line, and you’re not going to be able to sell those cars. If I get elected. Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath, for the whole — that’s going to be the least of it. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country. That’ll be the least of it. But they’re not going to sell those cars.”

And Democrats along with their propaganda pushers, the MSM, claimed Trump was calling for a bloodbath if he didn’t get elected.

Meanwhile democrats can call for “fights in the streets” and it’s fine. Totally fine.
I'm sure ol huff jumped to his defense. 🤣

Being elected doesn't mean you're just king for the next 4 years and the judicial and legislative branches have to fall in line behind you, the "mandate" thing is maybe the dumbest talking point and that's saying a lot. It was funny that someone asked Elon what checks are in place to prevent corruption within within DOGE itself and his response was just "we post things on Twitter and have a mandate"

UNELECTED!!!!!

What do you expect, instant results? Have to be realistic. Goal is to bring debt down by $1T this year, but debt will still climb. There is still a lot of spending that has been pre authorized.

Yeah but they cannot shift dollars from one area to another and claim they are cutting spending. If they do that they are out on their azzes after the midterms and pretty much guarantee a D presidency in 2028. Congress must cut spending and show proof of it.
