its like the job reports getting constantly edited.

We created 500k jobs this month

three months later: we only actually created 100k jobs that month.

just replaces "created" with "saved", and "jobs" with "money"

they are straight up lying to the public. especially if they aren't actually fixing the issues, and continuing to report new numbers under the same flawed system.

These people are just doing a quick audit, I'm not saying government is efficient or good.... obviously I don't think so. I'm not getting the connection myself, this is just a quick audit to cut the real real bad apples.

I'm all for the cuts but at this point it just feels like that commercial where they ask people if they know how many subscriptions they have. Sure, the guy with 3 Netflix subs saves money but it only existed because he was lazy and not paying attention. When he sells his $80k truck and picks up a $2k Honda accord to deliver pizzas then we've seen real change

Since 1980, the increase in defense spending has exceeded inflation by over 60%. The "% of GDP" is just a pro-military metric used to justify spending increases at a rate far higher than inflation...

You should compare spending metric with another spending metric and not an economic output metric....

You just don't understand what you're reading, this has nothing to do with random day-to-day comments from either Trump or Elon. The issue was broadly freezing spending, unrelated to specific instances of fraud. Trump saying "fraud" doesn't make specific instances magically appear from thin air
