Department of Government Efficiency - DOGE

If it ended there, that would be fine. But it won't. There will be circus, show-hearings, in 2026, and that costs taxpayers money.
So then you are fine with doing nothing and letting this bloated government continue to feast the blood of the taxpayers? Of course you are. You're a Democrat.

And I didn't see you complaining about the kangaroo courts that popped up every other month trying to put Trump in jail. How much did that **** cost?

It's all about exposing those in Congress that vote for it. Vivek and Elon are using a really big bull horn. It's a good thing. I don't know what your beef is.

It's laughable that you think anything real will come of this. It's pure theater, and you know it.

It’s laughable but not near as laughable as you thinking anything would come out of The Muell’s witch hunt and I never heard you complaining about how much that fiasco cost the taxpayers.

But that was back when you were a Democrat.

It's either more time spent or less work getting done in the same amount of time, there's no way around that really
Work? Seriously? It's that what you call spending more than you take in decade after decade?

Sunlight is the best disinfectant. Let it all be seen, one bill at a time. And like @hog88 said, they might think more about what they are doing since they don't get overtime. And as an added bonus, they will have to prioritize what they are doing.

Nah. It's a good thing no matter how much you think otherwise.

He loves government
I understand the small government perspective, but requiring each piece of a large bill to be separately discussed, passed, etc. as a standalone is by definition making Congress less efficient. Wanting Congress to do less is fine but don't act like it's an efficiency thing

So then you believe that all 1500+ pages of that monstrosity were necessary and good law.
