Since the R’s are following the desires of the citizens by auditing government spending to reduce waste, why is the waste assigned as either R or D? Seems like it would all be assigned to the House and Senate since they are the ones who appropriate government spending. If the current findings somehow reflect more poorly on the D’s, then the D’s should start digging for waste themselves and find some that reflect poorly on the R’s instead of crying foul to the media in an attempt to deflect attention away from the problem.

A balanced budget in year one considering the deficits we currently have is a big ask. But it should be a lot closer than it is now.
