Good grief are you being serious? The jury delivered a verdict that was based on fear of retaliation.
Let me add that based on some video evidence I had seen before the trial from experts I was comfortable saying it was just as likely he died from OD. After watching some of the testimony in trial where the ME's went into detail it became clear that Chauvin was at the very least partly responsible for Floyd's death. I thought manslaughter the most appropriate with a shot at the next level charge.
If I put myself on a jury hypothetically, in that circumstance and I believed the officer to be innocent, I would be conflicted out of fear for my my well-being, and the well being of my family. That's a horrible position to be put in, that isn't justice, and no juror acting in public service should be subjected to that.
There should be fear involved in being a juror, a fear that you don't play your part the best you can to achieve justice. There should never be fear for safety. That's where the city and this judge failed here. That and not sequestering the jury.
So then there is no systemic racism in the system. And all the black guys in jail deserve it?The jury unanimously returned a verdict of guilty based on the facts presented by the Prosecution and unsuccessfully disputed by the Defense. That simple. Most things are as they appear except to those perpetually looking for a bogeyman behind every tree and bush
Again, attacking bad arguments is not defending the actual guy.Ok you got me, someone Chauvin is paying money to would be a different story. But I dont think the posters here are getting paid by the man.
(even though they act like its their job to defend him )

They tried to impeach Trump for mentioning the race of the judge and the appropriateness of him overseeing trials.bad arguments????? you mean like calling it a sham trial with zero evidence lolz
Always a victim.....Quote about the NC shooting.
"I’m afraid as a Black man,” an emotional Councilman Gabriel Adkins told his colleagues. “I’m afraid that I may be the next one that my family might have to see on the news that I was gunned down.”
I don't care what race, color, or creed you are.......Stop doing things that force the police to be called on. Cops are not shooting people from Sniper locations for sport.
Like most of the interactions where force was used, even lethal, with some recent high profile cases involving AA's (Floyd case excluded)? The jury unanimously returned a verdict of guilty based on the facts presented by the Prosecution and unsuccessfully disputed by the Defense. That simple. Most things are as they appear except to those perpetually looking for a bogeyman behind every tree and bush
When the evidence is crystal clear, as in 9 minutes of uninterrupted video from multiple perspectives showing the murder it's hard to screw it up.So you agree. The system worked as intended and those who should be in jail, are in jail.
So the system gets it right? I dont know why you keep arguing when you arent disagreeing with me.When the evidence is crystal clear, as in 9 minutes of uninterrupted video from multiple perspectives showing the murder it's hard to screw it up.
If there was a video of OJ committing murders he would be in jail.
In the absence of such cut and dry evidence, where the jury has to rely exclusively on the memory of a witness, biased testimony, or murky evidence the system can often get it wrong.
This one is cut and dry. There's 9 minutes of video with Chauvin's knee on Floyd's neck. When Floyd says he can't breathe Chauvin persists. When Floyd is no longer conscious Chauvin persists. When witnesses (including the police) ask Chauvin to take his knee of Floyd's neck Chauvin persists. When Chauvin is informed Floyd no longer has a pulse he persists.
