Dexter

Season 2 Ftw.

Most underrated season

Wouldn't he be real? He killed Travis's sister, hit him with a shovel and chained him up. I find it hard to believe Travis did it all himself(especially hitting himself with a shovel?) and blacked it all out. Maybe I guess but looking unlikely. Guess we shall see

They keep making it unclear. I still say he's not real. But as far as I know, no one outside of Hanks has interacted with him. And like last night, when Dexter came in he was up in the balconey but when Dexter turned, he was gone and didn't find him up there. And as far as hitting him with the shovel, remember Dexter "saw" his brother stab the hotel guy with a pitchfork but it was actually him. And I'm not sure he actually got hit, I think he did a "black out" thing where he became the professor.

I'm betting he's still not real, and at some point his remains are found.

Honestly, I think it could go either way at this point. But you do have a point, unless Travis went into a second personality or something to kill his sister.

I believe that either way they play Gellar being real or not it doesn't work.

If he is real then why would someone who has his face plastered all over TV and newspapers as a suspected serial killer be walking around in broad daylight without a care in the world? Also, why would no one else ackwoledge him outside of Travis?

On the other hand, if he is split personality of Travis then it has been made so painfully obvious that I consider it a weak story arc. Plus, that would mean that this show just pitted two serial killers against each other who both project mentors from their respective pasts.

Either way it plays out this has been one of Dexter's worse seasons.

I agree; at this point if it turns out Gellar isn't real, it's hardly a plot twist since you see it a mile away. Plus I agree, if he's real, he wouldn't be just hanging out in broad daylight.

I've almost come to the conclusion that this show just isn't what it used to be. I still tune in every week, and I enjoy it compared to most of the other stuff on tv......but I honestly think that its best seasons are behind it. There are only so many places the plot line as a whole can go at this point in the series.

I feel the exact same way. I still watch the show and it is better than 95% of the junk on TV but it is definitely on the down slope from it's peak.

I rather enjoyed last night's episode. I wonder what they're going to do with the intern. And I really wished we had gotten a close up of Batista's sister doing the dirty...

Looks like you guys were right. Which in my opinion, means the show should end.

This went from one of the best shows to me questioning why I watch it. It's like watching the first three star wars and watching the next three. Some things shouldn't be prolonged just to make money.

Yep, unless the last 3 episodes really turn things around, I'm going to say this season was the worst, or at the least tied for the worst. Previously I thought Season 3 was the worst, but this one has been just as bad. I mean the "shock/twist" you could see a mile away, and they've already done the "Dexter vs. Dexter" crap in Season 4.

I've come to the conclusion that a show really shouldn't last past 4-5 seasons, because that seems to be when things usually just start to really suck. It's happening with too many shows I like. Dexter, The Office (which REALLY needs to be put of its misery), etc. There are exceptions but for the most part it's the truth. The British get it right when it comes to TV series'.

I'll be honest. When religion was first introduced I got really, really excited for the season. Then it didn't take the route that I expected and it kinda crashed.

Season 3 was much much worse than this years..

I disagree; Season 3 wasn't very good but at the least it didn't bore me. This season has been bad and I find myself losing interest very quickly. The last episode I almost fell asleep waiting on something to happen. Not to mention this season has been by far the most cliched and predictable storyline in the entire series.

I thought season 3 was ok. It just wasn't as epic as some of the other seasons.....especially 2 and 4. The last two seasons have just been way below average when comparing them to how good the show used to be.

Decent episode last night....anyone else think Colin Hanks should of never been cast as the killer? Ten eps in, and I still don't buy his character....

If you watch the promo for next week it looks like a quick flash of LaGuerta and Matthews laying in pool of blood. Interesting....

Awful casting; he's been terrible. On top of that, the writing has been just as bad. Some of the lines Hanks was saying from this past episode were just...bad.

I can't wait for the next 2 episode so this crapfest of a season will be over. I don't think it even matters if the last 2 end up being great, nothing is going to save this season from being the worst so far.

I'm beginning to now seriously question the writing for the rest of this series.

I'm starting to regret that the series got 2 more seasons.

Colin Hanks' character is by far the worst bad guy in the series' history, and possibly one of the most miscast roles I've ever seen. It's awful. Every time he tries to look mad, I burst into laughter.

And whoever is writing this season should be fired. Tonight's scene where Dexter sends a video text to Hanks and then Hanks gets mad and paints Dexter's face had me wondering if that really just happened.

I'm praying they start out Season 7 by acting like Season 6 was a nightmare Dexter had.
