DTV just told me the game is blacked out. Wow. Just wow. I told him he's incorrect and close to losing millions of customers. He put me on hold again.

The girl I talked to is trying to get in touch with tech support. They don't know what is going on.

Dish is working awesome...and my bill is cheaper every month. But hey DTV has awesome commercials. Game looks great

They just told me it will be up in 5 minutes. Sounded like she was just trying to get me off the phone. I'll see it when I believe it.

I just talked with the cancelation department. They confirmed it isn't a capacity issue and just a technical issue that is being worked on now in the "broadcast department." They hope to have it broadcasting soon.

I settled for a $20/month discount for the next 12 months and I'm watching online.

I spent about 20 minutes trying to call in. I would continue to say ''representative'' until they transferred me, then I'd get a busy signal every time. I finally just drive down to beef o bradies. Surprise... They have direct TV and sec1 is working here. What the hell. They should make this a Comcast commercial. I'm done with the dish

He pulled that out of his ass. If blacked out, it would say so on the channel.

2.....reauthorized....did not work

3.....called DTV.....busy signal

4.....came down from my Smoky Mountain High

They told me they would NOT show the game until after the game on 611 was over. They had no answer when I asked them why they had the alternate channel up. Someone screwed up big time.

Just got off the phone with direct tv. They said the broadcasting ppl are working on it. Said will have it today. I was like wtf??? Game is on NOW! They had no time table when the channel would be turned. This just makes me hate alabama that much more!

I am so pissed. Dtv says it is an issue with ESPN broadcast. Not them.

That is total crap because the channel was working. And it says I am not subscribed so how is that not a dtv issue.

So fing pissed.

I don't know if $20 bucks a month will make me happy at this point. It will take a miracle to keep me from losing it on the poor sap that takes my call.
I know it isnt their fault, but they should have had this ironed out... just bad, real bad IMHO!
