Discontinued fast food items rant

Growing up my dad taught an adult Sunday school class and he would go early to church to prep and I would go to help unlock all the doors. But anyways we would always stop at McDonald's on the way and get sausage biscuits and gravy. It was good! I think they stopped that, not sure it ever came back since I don't go there. Just a fun memory.

I had this about three four months ago. The gravy was so hot with black pepper taste I could barely eat it. I like pepper in my food, especially breakfast gravy. This was just over the top it was ridiculous. Both myself and the wife had the same reaction. I couldn't imagine giving that to a young child. Interesting you could not really see an abundance of pepper

McDonald’s would periodically have a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, and it was amazing.

Definitely wasn't hot when I had it, but I do recall it having a peppery taste. I would be curious if it tastes the same as when I had it, probably not though.

I don't recall seeing it in my city growing up, but I remember seeing it when we traveled and never tried it.

McDonalds dumped the idea because it took too long to make them and it was too expensive for each restaurant to get a pizza oven

Taco Bell also got rid of the XXL Grilled Stuff Burrito. That was my go-to late night drive thru. Also, Chili’s Buffalo Chicken Fajitas. No longer on the menu, but most Chili’s I’ve been too will serve it if asked. Bomb fajitas.

Taco Bell also got rid of the XXL Grilled Stuff Burrito. That was my go-to late night drive thru. Also, Chili’s Buffalo Chicken Fajitas. No longer on the menu, but most Chili’s I’ve been too will serve it if asked. Bomb fajitas.

I was shocked they got rid of it. It was their biggest and best burrito. Too much food for most people I guess.

I loved Shoneys as a kid. Been once during my adult life and wasnt impressed. Hate when something isn't like how you remember. Subway comes to mind as well. Their quality has just went down hill since the mid 90s.

I would mainly go there on the weekends (when I was older) for that great "breakfast bar" they had laid out.
It was all you could eat breakfast food for 1 price......piping hot food plus a fruit bar too if you wanted that.

Schlotzskys rueben—not the best but it was a decent sandwich. Went to get one the other day and it was gone.

There aren't a lot left. They have one in Cool Springs. They actually had one in Anchorage when I was stationed up there

LOL......we haven't even mention the Dairy Queen drive ups. With the ceiling fans on the outside.

I used to love going to Morristown to play baseball at Frank Lorino park when I was little due to the DQ that was at the front of the park. They had big tubs of pickles and you could get as many as you wanted.

I like Chili's fajitas, never knew they had it buffalo style, sounds great!
