If the donor is known, and is voluntarily donating to a specific receptor, then by all means, said donor has rights to be a part of the childs life.

to some degree. if you are in san francisco or LA in a private yuppie school you probably don't get much abuse. send them to a public school in LA and you might as well write the check for therapy. unfortunetly most lesbian couples on average aren't as rich as male couples or married couples.

I agree, it makes this all the more personal and this man without a doubt knows that he has a child out there somewhere.

Wouldn't you want the dad to come in and teach the kid what he knows about football. If you would want the best for the kid it seems like that would be a logical thing to do.

I will say this. I've lived in East Tennessee and East North Carolina and the attitudes towards gays and lesbians are threefold better (depending upon who you are of course) in NC.

East NC compared to ETn I can see. But, having lived on the Emerald Coast for 5 years, when compared to Jacksonville, or South FL, ENC is not equal.

But here was my argument to that. Why would you want the child of a man that is just going to sign the kid away. That isn't that great of a trait in my eyes.

Wouldn't you be scared that your kid, depending upon how you believe a kid gathers traits, would have that "Awww f*** it" trait? If so why would you want it.

do you think the "aww f it" trait is hereditary? i must admit my "aww f it" cousin was a lazy arse even when a he was a young child
