Disney: The Most Evil Business In The World

I see two extremes here:

1. Disney will be out of business due to WOKE politics in 2 years
2. Nothing is wrong with Disney, Marvel and Star Wars are still killing it at box office

Both narratives are incorrect.

To follow-up:

I agree with comments that Disney is not going anywhere, anytime soon but to say they are not struggling or losing market share is putting your head in the sand.

There is a lot rumors that Star Wars has gone so bad that there are discussions to even sell LucasArts. Clearly Star Wars has been a disaster, here are Youtube videos about the issues:

You can examine Youtube and see video after video about how the Mario movie is breaking records and is major shot fired against Disney. Nintendo World has opened with Universal in Japan and is a success. It may not be long before we see Nintendo World being put in Orlando to directly compete with Disney and I think it will.

The Super Mario Brothers movie could be the highest grossing animated movie all-time once the dust settles. I think Disney is definitely noticing this as a threat. Nintendo has tons of IP that, until recently, was relegated to video games but translates well into animated films/characters that can win the child/family audience away from Disney.

Universal has already added the Mario themed land in its California park, and it’s already scheduled to open a bigger/better version in Orlando in summer 2025. Universal Orlando is actually well underway in construction on a new park in Orlando, which is where the new Mario land plus a donkey Kong themed area/mine cart coaster will be.

Nolte: Disney Groomers Lost $258 Million on Woke ‘Lightyear,’ ‘Strange World’

It cost the degenerates at Disney more than $250 million to try and groom little kids by introducing adult sexuality into the children’s films Lightyear and Strange World.

Better still, no movie lost more money last year than the woke Strange World. And other than Strange World and Amsterdam, Lightyear was last year’s biggest money loser.

According to a detailed analysis at the far-left Deadline, after everything is totaled up, from the box office to home video, Lightyear lost $106 million and Strange World lost a whopping $152 million.

I haven't seen Strange World but the stuff in Lightyear is so innocuous, you gotta be *****ing me with this stuff, but I know you're not.

Got the AZ supreme court protecting people who are protecting pedos, but that's religious-based abuse, so you guys are worried about a gay Disney character existing instead. You don't care about kids. You're irrationally afraid of gays.

Exclusive: Disney’s 11th-Hour Move To Evade DeSantis Oversight Is Legally Void, Per Source

Disney skipped a step required by Florida law in its 11th-hour agreement, according to those familiar with the proceedings.

Disney leadership thought the company out-maneuvered Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis this year after a last-minute agreement with local officials gave the theme park virtually unlimited developmental power. But sources tell The Federalist that Disney’s corporate lawyers missed the fine print in Florida statute governing tourist districts.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis plans to unveil New crackdown against Disney after 11th-hour Coup

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis isn’t backing down against Disney.

The Republican on Monday will unveil new crackdown measures against the corporate giant after it tried to kneecap his oversight of its self-governance power in the Sunshine State, The Post has learned.

“What they tried to do is an embarrassment,” a senior administration source told The Post. “The narrative the left is spinning is that Gov. DeSantis was outmaneuvered. But this is far from over, and he’s going to have the last laugh.”

DeSantis, 44, is set to announce plans by the state Legislature to void a controversial move by Disney that effectively stripped the governor’s newly-installed oversight board of authority, sources said.

Officials called Disney’s tactic an illegal “poison pill” intended to undercut state supervision over its special tax district — and argued the secretive maneuver would be subject to swift legislative reversal.

This whole thing amounts to pettiness, and it is not easy to see how any of it will be of true benefit to the people and business activity in the state of Florida.

Slippery slope here as well as DeSantis weaponizing the FL Dept of Revenue to go after other "woke" companies who signed the Don't Say Gay Bill....

Why do you believe anyone critical of the Ronster must be a Biden voter?
Where did I say that? The poster voted for Biden, therefore he's a supporter. I'm not a supporter of Desantis, just found it funny to call others idiots when you're one as well if you voted for Biden.

How do you know how he voted?

Did he? He can answer that for himself, but it would surprise me. He probably voted 3rd party. He is a moderate conservative. Most of his opinions are reasonable.
