I think Disney writing just isn't that good right now. They have been there and done that in the past. Disney really struggled in the 1980s until Little Mermaid came out in 1989.

I find very few people who would classify Disney Star Wars as good or successful... Marvel is still raking in the $$$ but even they are showing a slight decline. I think it is different than Star Wars in that I feel like Disney has gone back too many times to the Marvel well and it is just drying up/getting stale.

Desantis trying to outflank Trump on the social issues but he may well cost himself the I4 corridor. Had he taken this anti Disney tack prior to the governors race he might have run in to stronger opposition.

He's already lost any chance at the GOP primary, but not sure his governorship is at risk yet. He keeps this battle going then all bets are off.

A lot of things can happen. If the primaries were held all at once right now Trump would easily win the nomination.

I'd give him the advantage if the general were held today, at least over Biden. But it's not today and a lot of Trump's worst characteristics will be on full display before election day.

The dodging. The harsh attacks on popular Republicans. The fake mantras, such as "some people are saying"... all of that wears people down.

I don’t think DeSantis is going to run in 2024, with both Tennessee senators endorsing Trump after the retreat to me that’s a huge hint. He knows in 2028 Trump is out of the picture and he would immediately be the front runner by a wide margin

If anyone is dumb enough to pay $3600 for a two day package to a Disney Park then they are really dumb.

Are you going to the park by yourself? If so, then we need to call law enforcement that you might be a child molester because I specifically mentioned single 20 - 30 year olds.

I also pointed out Mickey and Mini aren't as popular as they once were.

Last, I am talking about the Toy Story franchise so I'm sorry for confusing you. A quick Google search would yield Lightyear grossed just over budget at the box office.

Box office $226.4 million

Rule of law has nothing to do with people agreeing with the laws. We can abide by bad laws while protesting and fighting them. It is our fkn duty to oppose bad laws, moreso than it is to abide by them. That's the whole point of the founding. Eisenhower would be totally confused by this perversion of his statement. The fact that opposition to a law makes you think of a quote referencing the perils of "no rule of law" is pretty ridiculous.

I agree that’s very expensive, and yet there are plenty of people willing to shell out that kind of money even considering Disneys politics. I made that joke about being a predator because you missed my original point. I said single 20 something year olds aren't the target audience for the park so I'm not sure why you mentioned the park if you're married.

Btw, we've been to Disney twice as a family but not in at least 4 years.



My family has vacationed twice at Disney for the kids.

No, this "action" is being taken by DeSantis because Disney had the temerity to disagree with him. He then lashed out like a child. Disney spanked his a$$ and now he's lashing out again. Disney will take this little wanna be dictator behind the woodshed again. It'll be fun to watch. He is destroying his chances at the presidency with his ginormous ego. He may be worse than Trump.

I am saying should be free to disagree with the law, as written without reprisals from the government. Government reprisals for disagreement with policy is acceptable in a dictatorship not in a free society.
