Do you Run?……Walk?….Bike?…..Swim?…..yoga?…..lift weights? What’s your workout plan?

@bigeasy, please, tell me about the bicycle in the avi pic.
Didn’t really give details, but I bought the frame/crank used. Then added Dura-ace all around, zipp cf handlebars, then my martindale wheels from my old road bike. It was my first personal build. So it was lots of fun sourcing parts and putting it all together. I always thought dura-ace was just Shimanos pretentious lineup but it shifts sooo well. Granted it could just be the newer technology.

I am contemplating putting the dura-ace and everything on my old Roubaix though. It currently has older 10sp Ultegra so it just feels clunky. Which means I never ride it. That being said, my riding has changed tons and I kinda miss the comfort of the Roubaix.

I took a flyer on a $40 Chinese part from Amazon and basically turned my Peloton into a Bike+ ($1000 more) with a swivel/flip screen. Works great! I also added a double USB- powered fan attachment.

Roubaix are comfortable bikes. My 12-year-old Giant has 105s.

You are like me in that we tinker with everything.
In a related story I just got an X95. Grip set and tach light on the way.

I don’t think I have ever purchased a saddle. It has always been the one that came with a bike. I just get so nervous that I will spend the money and hate it.

It’s on the bike. I tested it around the neighborhood. It gets a real test tomorrow morning. I suspect that I’ll adjust it before it’s just right. It’s bound to be an improvement over the butt busting barely there saddle that I’ve been riding with a slip on pad these past twelve years.

Morning ride: 20.55 miles, 673’ elevation gain, 1:36 elapsed time. The saddle is very comfortable. I think that I need to adjust it forward 1/4”.
