Do you Run?……Walk?….Bike?…..Swim?…..yoga?…..lift weights? What’s your workout plan?

@evillawyer
Calling BS on your claim that you are a runner.
Post proof.
Best 5k around 22:00. Best mile around 6:30. VO2 max peaked around 55, but it's lower now. Saucony triumph 20 for the longer days. Skechers razor excess for faster, shorter days. (don't knock the Skechers running shoes until you try them, they're legit)

I'm still comically slow but I am coming along. I meant to run 4 miles at a whack all this month but I'm lagging behind that a little bit. I ran at work because it's flat flat flat. Planning to run the crazy 8 July 15 but after that, I think 3 miles a day is more comfortable for me long-term. I don't know how I'd motivate myself to run 4 or 5.

How old are you ?
I’m about to be 54. I have several friends who swear by the sketchers but I’m pretty much sold on the Hokas.

Re: Hoka. I got a pair of Clifton 7s. They're fine. I think they lose their cushioning pretty quickly (after about 100-150 miles) and really feel "dead" when I run in them now. I much prefer the Saucony triumph 20 if you're looking for a cushioned run. And they're pretty light for a max cushioned shoe.

I really love the razor line from Skechers for quicker days. Light as a feather, no frills, good pop with the hyperburst midsole.

Went for the long climb to the top of the ridge. First time I’ve ever made it without having to break into a walk. The last 15 yards were brutal. View attachment 557054View attachment 557055

Those are good numbers. I typically jog a 10k in about 55 minutes. My times were a whole lot better in the past before developing arthritis in my left knee over the past couple years. Too much wear and tear.

This is bad news for me.
There are certain people I enjoy messing with who probably think I hate them. LG1 for example is a hoot and a half. I really enjoy sparring with you but if you’re really a girl then I don’t feel great about the way I sometimes treat you…even if it’s in fun.
I’m not sure how this is going to affect our relationship moving forward.
I’m sure I’ll figure something out. You’re just to much fun to converse with.

And
I’m just under 200 lbs. I replace shoes at 125-150 miles no matter what. Old man knees have to be protected

Well, thank you. I don't take anything too seriously on here (as you can probably tell). This is mostly a release from the pressures of the work day and raising two kids.

I’m glad you are here.
It would be boring if I didn’t have imaginary friends to play with

Edit: I’m probably gonna start calling you “Karen “ though
