Do you Run?……Walk?….Bike?…..Swim?…..yoga?…..lift weights? What’s your workout plan?

Yo! Just finished a 3.2 mile run during my lunch break. Trying to focus on diet/hydration this week just to see what all this hype is about lol.

So when you go run do you have a plan/program? Or just running based off feel
My neighborhood has several different loops ranging from 4-6miles. For me it’s more about the time than distance.
I’m trying to get 40+ minutes twice a week and yoga 45+ twice a week.
The most important part of this is what you said. Diet.

Thanks, sort of at a crossroads age wise. I can’t lollygag 5 out of 6 runs a week and then expect to set PRs on race day. Big emphasis the last month in pushing the tempo as often as I can. So far I’ve done more sub 9 minute pace runs this month than I’ve done the past 2 months combined.

Getting older is a blessing, but it sorta stinks.

It only gets worse.
My 4 mile loop has become 9:30 instead of 9:00 I went 3 miles on flat terrain at 8:35 about a year ago. 54 next week and I think 8:50 is as good as I could expect if I ran it tomorrow.

Old, Fat and Slow.

That sounds like a tough route! I love riding hills vs flats, so typically choose hill repeats and less total miles
 
Morning ride: 27.16 miles, 673’ elevation gain, 2:11 riding time. We were lolligagging and talking the entire time.
