Do you Run?……Walk?….Bike?…..Swim?…..yoga?…..lift weights? What’s your workout plan?

Did a long run before church on my favorite loop.

Tried to do a progressive pace run. Mission accomplished, but I should have set a basement in terms of pace. My legs are more sore than I’d like for a training run of this distance. 8:35 is my super ambitious marathon pace.

Just curious, how long did it take you to get to where you're at running? I'm assuming it has to be years now.

I’ve been running casually for about 10 years. Started entering races in 2017, first half marathon in 2019. I’ve gotten a lot more structured in my training the last 5 months.
 
Great job!!! 10k is a tough distance to run and feel like you ran to the best of your abilities.
I’m running part of the race course for the September Long Island 10k in the morning. Or maybe Sunday morning. I’ll get a fill for the “huge hill” everyone is complaining about. With what I normally train on I’m hoping it won’t be a big issue
 
I walk/jog for an hour each day before lunch then do about 20-40 minutes of weightlifting.

The walk usually last between 30-60 minutes depending on what podcast or playlist I’m listening to.

Missed the mark three days for varying reasons but a 10+ mile hike Tuesday after work (thanks to my wife who had the kids) carried the week and brought the average above 10k/day.

Foot is doing much better. Had my last PT Friday got my running form fixed, and was able to start day 1 of a C25k today.

DF Memorial Bike Ride: several members of his family (most of whom have not ridden for years) joined his cycling group for a short ride Father’s Day morning. Eyes were moist when his eldest daughter thanked us all. 11.41 miles, 573’ elevation gain, nobody kept track of the time.
