Dobbs is getting his props in S.F.

Ok. While his history in the NFL has been backup or mostly, third string and inactive, he's all of a sudden a starter. You're not too knowledgeable on the NFL, are you? He's a starter right now because the Cardinals knew he could come in and run their offense competently. I love Dobbs, but I also know his limitations at the top level. If you knew better you wouldn't even think about debating it
His limitations are the same as several other starters currently in the NFL. That is what I am saying. I am knowledgeable enough about the NFL to trust what I see. Is the Cardinals current record better if Murray was the starter to this point ? I doubt it because we have seen his production too.

“He was the punchline of tanking jokes this summer, but it looks like the joke is on us. Dobbs has completed at least 70% of his passes or been involved in multiple touchdowns in all four weeks this season, offering a reasonable fantasy floor after a shaky start to the season.”"

He hasn't gotten with the right team. Maybe if he continues his efficient play, the Cardinals MGMT group will settle on him as their QB1 for next season and draft/sign FAs for positions of need.

As usual, no use in nuance or detail. I like Dobbs at least as much as you, but I also have a grip on reality as to the NFL. He might have the best job of all time. That you must pigeon an extreme, one way or another, without having the first damn clue isn't surprising.
I believe that purdy was third team before injury and nobody even the coaches had a clue who he was. I guess those coaches knew

I keep hearing about Dobbs' limitations. This latest article even states his limited arm strength, yet he has the 4th longest pass at 69 yards and his yards per completion is middle of the pack. Will be watching his game today on Fox and trying to find some more of those limitations.

PS How many remember the game winning Hail Mary to Jennings to beat who....

Dobbs has plenty of arm strength. His weakness in the past was accuracy. Having watched all of his NFL games this year and in the past, as well as most of his preseason games, Dobbs in the NFL is a completely different passer than what we saw under Butch. He still will miss occasionally, but he's so much smoother in his delivery. He's always had the potential to be an NFL QB, and I'm glad he's getting the shot finally.
