Does this kill the ACC?

Lol that keeps coming up. Look at the teams they beat. Not the teams at the top tier with exception of LSU. the others are bottom feeders.
If the ACC top 4 played the SEC top 4 ala SEC VS ACC challenge what would the ACC record be? I would say ACC would be 0-4, 1-3 at best…

As by conference records

Fla St vs UGA/Alabama
Louisville vs Alabama/UGA
NC state vs Missouri/Ole Miss/LSU
Ga Tech/VT vs Missouri/Ole Miss/LSU

But, the ACC was 6-4 versus the SEC this year....
2 against USCjr, non bowl team
1 vs Florida, non bowl team
1 vs Texas a$m , coach fired for performance
1 vs Vandy (enough said)
1 vs LSU Labor Day Weekend.

That’s 1 decent win.

Recent bad loss Louisville (ACC Champ game) to Kentucky

because he was smart enough to know that FSU would have been comparable to USCjr or maybe Ole Miss in the SEC with no chance at winning it all....
And Bobby was correct in knowing his FSU team wouldn't come in & dominate the SEC, but since his departure & Jimbo's time there, FSU has endured a period quite similar to Tennessee up until this year.

If I'm FSU, I just bide my time. There is zero chance they get left out of a 12-team playoff with an undefeated record and probably even with 1 loss. That will be much easier to achieve in the ACC than it will in the Big10 or SEC.
They can’t get left out of the CFP if they win their conference. Part of the new deal is that conference champs are AQ just like in basketball. I really hate that rule, but it is what it is.

Money(Big 20/SEC) vs CFP12 spot. That is the real decision for most teams currently not in Big20/SEC.
