Dogs of VolNation and other pets that are inferior to Dogs

Lol, I took notice!

I'm going to hold onto her for the night and let them get used to her not being around for another day. Then, I'll call and try the soft/emotional approach (like including the kids). If that doesn't work over a few days, I'll go animal control if necessary.

I advise you to just call animal control and save yourself the potential legal trouble.

CYA, man. Sounds like you'll still end up with the dog.

I went to Portland for two weeks. I got this look.

Won't they just come pick her up and take her to Young Williams? Won't they scan her and get her back to the owners?

My step aunt went through this - expect resistance. In the end you can't take someone's dog. Some authority will have to intervene. I know if someone thought I wasn't a good owner and they wanted my dog I'd be resistant.

Good point, a "Don't tell me how to raise my kids" situation at Wal Mart.

I used to raise mountain curs.. awesome dogs. These are pics of my male Blue and some of his pups.

So this hound does NOT want my Boxer near my wife and is growling and barking aggressively at her (the other dog). Do I just let them bark at each other/figure it out? I don't want an out-and-out fight!

She was kept in a bark collar until now and I wonder if she is acting out due to the freedom, just a new situation, stressed, normal "pecking order determination," or what.

Your dogs will work out the pecking order between them. What you need to do is show the new dog who is in charge.

Do I let them growl/bark/fight? New dog hasn't had any trouble with the humans of the family. I just don't want anyone to get hurt in the fray (kids or dogs).

I'm such a red neck.
3 dogs pictured. And my leg.
Ed, Myke , Siggy and Buck was just out of the picture
