My daughter is doing a good job of taking her out and cleaning up after her. I'm very surprised she's being responsible with the pup.

Well. Around 3pm my wife called me and told me something was wrong with my mini schnauzer. I got home and rushed him to the vet. he hasn't been well but he is 15 years old. he had some sort of stroke and I made the tough decision to have him go peacefully. I've balled. but I just sat there petting him and giving him kisses and telling him what a good boy he has been. longest 45 minute drive home I have ever had. well 2 more dogs to still love on.(including the blue tick I got off here like 5 years ago), but man this is tough.

So sorry to hear this. I've been there twice with Schnauzers in the past 6 years...it's so terribly sad and difficult. Try to be thankful for the time you shared and remember all the fun times together.

We now have another, and she is the loudest screamer yet.

Losing a dog is like losing a child. I feel for you buddy, I lost my best friend right after the New Year and it broke my heart. Dogs have souls.
