It's 100% BP's fault and if he's gone, so be it. He made the idiotic decision. There are just some very nigh eve people on here who lie, daily or weekly, yet throw stones. It's amusing.

The players had a great win last night. It'a been a bit overshadowed today. Too bad the story of the day is not about the team, but is about the failings of the program. Coach and AD should be shown the door for letting down this team and embarrassing the great fans of this state.

Seems like there about 20-30 people here that are always wanting someone fired. No forgiveness or patience, just NegaVols on the prowl for blood. A man need not be destroyed for his mistakes if he does not repeat and is repentant.

Besides you cannot destroy Pearl, you can only try to make him leave. Then he can comeback as Coach of another team and kick UT azz. Why should we fire the best coach we ever had so someone else can hire him? Don't think SC, LSU or Memphis wouldn't like to have him. Do you think the few of you bloodlusting, holier than thou NegaVols should get the same hate if you ever mess up? Or are you all really so perfect in your minds?

Can someone on "our side" think we have lowered our standards for what is acceptable for our athletic programs and voice his disapproval?

Sure, while he thinks he's somehow protecting the program, he's also contributing to the negative press that is ripping the program. Brilliant logic there.

Benard King was recruited by Ray Mears. Tennessee was accused by Kentucky of signing Bernard and it was thought that bernard grades or transscript had been changed. The Ncaa investigated and found no proof of this.
Bruce Pearl has admitted his mistakes. I would suggest that if Bruce Pearl is fired,that tennessee basketball is going to hit rock bottom and there will be no 19000 in the gym for decades. So, be careful what you wish for!

Bruce Pearl is our coach at UT & I hope it remains that way. These haters talk like every other college coach is squeaky clean. Bruce made a mistake & owned up to it, unlike the others. Bet UConn's Calhoun gets off scott-free. Recruiting is a dirty business all around. Face reality.

Yeah, I'm still stinging from all those times Fulmer's washed up ass has come back to Neyland and beaten us. The defeats Jerry Green and Buzz Peterson heaped on us are also tough to take.

Those who want Pearl fired are not "haters" or "negavols" - in fact they care dearly about this program and want the attention to be on the players. This has dragged on too long and is a disgrace that could have and should have been mitigated with an immediate firing. We are being dragged through the mud and the eventual outcome will be the same - Pearl will be fired.

Kevin O. has done a pretty good job of that but he can stay put, his record speaks for itself.

Mr. "Guru", You would do well to stay on topic and focus your acrimony instead of taking a shotgun approach. Spreading the hate and negativity around does no one good. Maybe you just have a lot of personal spleen to vent. Too bad.
