A career sustained by using PED's is a career not worth mentioning in my eyes.

Don't bring up 7 Cy Young awards when the guy who won them would not have won that many if it weren't for the drugs.

If the clamp is put down by MLB then those 7 Cy Young's were won throwing against players that were not juicing by a pitcher not juicing.

You act as if he was the only person juicing. We can play the if game all damn day.

At the end of the day he was one of the greatest of all time. Steroids or not.

Cheating is cheating...Bonds doesn't hold the record to me and Clemons is nothing more than punchline.

Agreed, Barry was an all-time great before the 'roids, with that said, I still disqualify him from any kind of greatness or record talk, same with Clemons.

Just cause others were doing it doesn't make it right for them to have done it.

I love how the players who thrived and dominated... despite ALREADY thriving and dominating... are the ones who catch the most hell for it.

People NOT named barry bonds are the ones who were helped the most. It took bonds from "surefire hall of famer" to "holy CRAP one of the best of all time." Not quite the leap, say, Ken Caminiti made. Or even McGwire for that matter.

I assume you won't mention Manny, Ortiz or the championships they helped the Sox win while on PED's?

or that fact that Pedro is one of the biggest big-game choke artists of all time.

Anybody who claims that his teams biggest rival is his daddy, doesn't deserve to be called the best pitcher of his generation.

I'm talking specifically about records and all-time great discussions only.

Like I said, the Yanks are the biggest cheaters there are, you didn't even try to debate it cause you know it is true.

I find it funny that all you do is try and stir the pot, you bring nothing to this site or any discussion that is held within these forums other than your negative NY biased homer opinion.

I lost a ton of respect for Ortiz when I found out he juiced, but at this point it is par for the course, what am I supposed to do, just say to myself that I'm so disgusted with baseball as a whole that I refuse to celebrate my team finally winning a title because a few of the players did what essentially everyone was doing?

And I've told you more than once that "cheating" in baseball with PED's goes far beyond the past 25 years.

But once again, if you're going to celebrate the world series championship because basically "everyone was doing it", then why discount an individual record because everyone was doing it?

Step back and see who is biased now. You can ask multiple people on the baseball board, I'm pretty damn logical and call a spade a spade no matter the team.

Because it is different.

An individual using PED's the way that Bonds, McGwire, Sosa, Clemons did to further their careers and have legendary seasons/careers is completely different then a team accomplishment.

Not everyone on those teams was juicing and it is still something to behold whether or not Manny/Ortiz were juicing.

2 players on a 25 man roster being found guilty does not lessen what the Sox did in any way.

I would be stupid to dismiss it because of that, just like you, do you not count the WS titles the Yanks won with players caught cheating?

Of course you count them, just like everyone else would.

Picking and choosing because guys are pricks doesn't strengthen your argument.

If a team has a cheater on it, then why not discount the team as well? That player surely assisted in some wins.

I've been a part of the game my entire life, thus far, and can tell you that you would be shocked at who did what.

And for the record, since you're so hellbent on the Yankees cheating. Go do some research on the saints that you bandwagon for.
