Newsflash: Gays are already in the military. It seems to function fine now so why the worry?

There are much bigger threats to our military cohesiveness and readiness than allowing gay members of our forces to serve without fear of being found out or forced to deny the truth about their sexual preferences.

the fact is that gays serving openly will slowly kill our military and our country but you're going to believe what you want and I'm afraid something catastrophic for some of you to pull you head out of your ass and wake up. By then it will be too late.

According to joevol the military is currently developing a new special forces platform. They will be called LRSU, Long Range Sodomy Unit. They will be deployed behind enemy lines and the intent is to strike fear in opposing forces. The unit will wear specially developed camo, pink and shades of taupe, in color and the uniform will be topped off with a purple colored bandana worn around the neck with matching beret tilted saucily to the side.

As long as they adhere to the UCMJ and maintain their military bearing while in uniform, I dont care if they go to a all male gang bang every night. Has no bearing on their ability to carry out the mission.

if a straight superior gives an order to a gay guy and the gay guy doesn't like the order, he complains that he's being singled out because he's gay. who do you think will get into trouble over this?

gator, i doubt you've been in the military. you've never seen how many superior officers or enlisted guys get accused of being racist or sexist because they give an order to the wrong person.
