My friends at Arky State have been tweeting about it. Funnily enough they are buying the same crap we did "good guy..losing record but upcoming..bad defensive hire let him down or would be playing big BOWL ..." etc etc...I wonder how this will pan out if this happens ??

I wish CDD and his family well.

AK ST would be a perfect mediocre fit for CDD

That's my old school. Dools, the gift that keeps on giving. Going back to the Sunbelt it appears. Well, they won't have to worry about coaching turnover for awhile. He will hang around like wallpaper.

No - it doesn't help with his buyout. He gets it all.

Nope, Dooley gets all his money regardless of what he does. Chaney does as well. Everyone else though can be offset.

This is a point colleges should realize... a lot of NFL jobs buyouts can be voided by other coaching ventures, and if college is going to pay near-NFL salaries, the contracts should follow suite.

Many NCAA contracts can be voided, but some, like Dooley, negotiate a guaranteed buyout.

Hamilton is the real gift that keeps on giving.

Dooley's dad said he wasn't going to coach for a while...you may see him in the booth or an administrative position somewhere

Dooley will be another version of Bob Davie. Davie at least won some games though. I'm also confused as to why they wouldn't take Bob Petrino if there is actually any linkage here which I sincerely doubt.

I still believe he has potential. He looks like he can learn from his mistakes and has a passion for the game. If he changes a few aspects, countered with less pressure he may have time to build a good team and a second chance.

That's not hate but it is possible and optimistic. I wish him well.
